Interesting topic Jess and some of the posts were excellent - tho honestly didn't have time to go through all of them due to work - but can't resist posting :)
I personally find that CVs have been dragging their feet as far as Nupur's character development is concerned. Mayank's character is developing quite nicely - he's picked up a part time job - he's adapted to his new life and wife. He always was the mature one - so his maturity has helped him in this unexpected turn of events.
I would like Nupur's character to be developed - it's cute to be filmy and nautanki - but when the need of the hour is some serious work then the CVs should show that - she has been shown to be a smart and intelligent person - so that smartness and intelligence needs to be developed - she should come up with some way of studying and helping out. For starters it can be just housework - even simple things like economising at home e.g. cooking can save a lot of money!! If Mayank has to do all the housework + part time job + study - then he's going to be stressing out pretty soon - so would like Nupur to pitch in. I would like that they share the housework - and Nupur does something out of the house too - which helps them financially.
Often it is shown that Mayank is thinking ahead - and resolving issues that they may face - I would like Nupur to also do that - anticipate the problems her husband might face and pitch in to ensure that things go smoothly for them!! I want them to be successful as a couple - and that can only happen when they both play a positive and contributory role in their new marriage!! They are both v.young - and their marriage is new - and they both have to work at it to make it successful!!
