24^th September ' It was the same day as today when Samrat is recalling his past, when he recalls how he was transformed and how his life was changed.

When he woke up that morning, he saw that his wife was missing. All he cud do was to search the entire house for her. At last he reached the main room to call her. But he found a note besides the phone in her writing. "Not now. After breakfast." A small smile passed on his face. "Ok Mrs Shergill...After breakfast." He softly said to himself. "But where are you?" he once again whispered to himself and wondered. He went to the kitchen and directly reached for the fridge. Once again he saw a note on the door of the refrigerator. "Breakfast on the table and no cold water." Once again a wide smile came on his face. "Chashh... mish'" he hit the note slightly on his head.

After the breakfast he ran to the main room to call Gunjan, but once again he found a note in the bathroom while he washed his hands. "Flowers and hugs for you. Flowers under the table. Love you." He smiled looking at those words deeper. Emotions filled in his eyes. "I love you too." He kissed the note.

The flowers were exactly under the table on which phone was kept. "She knew it I wont look down'she knew it!" he laughed. He picked up the flowers and looked at them, smiled, then picked up the phone to dial her. As she picked, "Gunjan where are you?" he bursted out.

"I m just here outside the mall, reaching home soon."

"What are you doing in the mall early morning?"

"Samrat, don't you know it is a special day for us ' 24^th September."

"I know it, but u shud have told me, we wud have gone together." He was little worried.

"Don't worry, I m totally alright Ok now tell me'got the note?" she asked promptly.

"Yes." He nodded.

"Had breakfast?" she went on.

"Yes." He smiled

"Got flowers?" she softly asked.

"Yeess gunjan." He raised his eyebrows.

"And hugs?" her voice turning even softer.

"Yes..." he answered softly' then "Umm'actually no." he voiced with sweetness and fun.

"Want?" she asked softly.

"Yes." He smiled and replied softly. Even though they were not watching each other, their love and faith carried the same emotions it did when they are in front of each other. He understood her response and she understood his reactions.

She took away the receiver from her ear and softly kissed on the speaker, smiling shyly.

"I Love You Samrat." She said softly. "I Love you."

Samrat was in tears and so was Gunjan.

"Gunjan I want to say u something'."

"Say it I m listening." She said.

"No not now, after you get home." He replied.

Before Gunjan cud say anything, he heard a loud crash. "Samratttt'." He heard her call his name.

"Gunjan..Gunjan'hello'.gunjan'." he cried like he did one year ago when he saw Gunjan falling at her doorstep and now he was even more helpless than before.

"Gunjannn'.."

*Switch to present*

(Watch what road she takes after abandoning me! All of them lead back to my heart. Not in front, you are not in front is a different thing.. You're close to me.... I have you here with me... you're with me.)

"Paapa, what happened?" a three year old stood there in front of him while his hands were forward to stop someone and his eyes full of tears.

"See my new dress. I look like Mamaa no?" she said innocently with a smile. Neha, daughter of Samrat and Gunjan, wore exactly what Gunjan did in her days of college.

Samrat came to his senses looking at her and smiled. He wiped away his tears and kneeled down in front of her caressing her face similarly like the way he did to Gunjan. He looked deeper in her eyes to find someone. And she looked back, her eyes going up and down trying to find what her father did.

"No, now u look like her." He took away his specs and makes her wear it and smiled.

"Where are we going today?" she asked. He starts thinking. "That's not fair. It's my birthday today." 24^th September, the day that was special for Samrat and Gunjan was the day when God gifted them with a daughter after their marriage. For Samrat and Gunjan, Neha was not another child born to parents; she was the purpose of Gunjan's satisfaction and Samrat's existence.

"Ok, it's your birthday'" smiled with his eyes brim, he kissed her and picked her up. Kissed her hands, her head, her cheeks'just everything.

A voiceover went behind, of the words that Samrat said on the day of Talent Parade.

Sometimes you meet someone who means a lot to you only to find out in the end that it was never bound to be and you just have to let go.

(I have called out your name here, and there, you have suddenly thought of me. The rains are heavy today... I have you here with me..... You're with me.)

He still remembers the day when Gunjan took her last breath in his arms with blood all over her body on the middle of the road. Maybe, Samrat must have questioned to God once again. Maybe this time it was even harsh. To lose something when u r prepared is easy, to lose something when u r not prepared is also easy. but to lose something when it is already given u back, is NOT!

Their true love which had a power to miraculously cure Gunjan out of her illness, had the same power to miraculously take away both of their lives together. But that wasn't it. Gunjan was alive for Samrat in the form of Neha. Neha's existence is the purpose and reason for Samrat to live. Her existence is their true love. For Samrat, Gunjan is not away.

Samrat's mom reminded him to get soon with Neha, bcos there was death anniversary ceremony for Gunjan.

At evening, Samrat had to give a speech at Excel for achieving medical certificate. As his name was announced, he walked towards the stage but not without Neha.

He finally started his speech:

Excel is a place where teachers encouraged us stay united and break status conditions, ranks and distinctions. (He looked at Ms.Tamanna and many other teachers.)

It is a place where you get to define the roles you chose.

It is a place where we get friends who we keep for the rest of our lives. (He looked at his friends RV, Neil, Ashwini, Sheena)

Today, I wud like to share with all of you a story that happened at Excel four years ago.

A boy, 20 years old was a part of this Excel. He was without any aims and hopes in life. He had a small family and big group of friends. For him that was his life.

This same college had a girl who was happier than lot of other students that studied at Excel. She was a stranger to most of them, but she was more satisfied and happier than them.

Fate, as it is said, made the two come together and fall in love like never before. They both became the part of each other. They both transformed their worlds to each other. They both became a single soul dwelling in two bodies.

The same fate took the test of their love. But their love did not fail. Love is the leap of faith. It is like a wind. It is a feeling that you can't see.

(Even separated, we are not apart. You're angry, but you haven't lost faith. Your hand is still in mine...... I have you here with me... You're with me... You're so close to me...)

And therefore I wud like to say, that Excel is a place (he looked at Neha, hold her hands and kissed them) where one person, if is the right person, changes us all.

As he said those words, he cud see Gunjan standing in front of him. He picked up Neha, feeling whom it felt like he felt his love.

No, it was not her spirit. Neither was it Samrat's illusion. For Samrat, Gunjan was alive and she was everywhere. She was still with him. She was alive within him.

As for her absence, it was written.

NOTES: First of all, i m really not sure if u guys are satisfied with the ending. but this is all i cud do. secondly , yes she died. gunjan died. if u look at my point of view you get a happy ending...but if for you gunjan being alive is only happiness...then i cant say much.

as i have said many times..this story was pre planned. and this story was based on gunjan's death. so this is it.

i have clearly explained thru the update, their love is still alive... and seriously it is...i mean it is not a dreaming or something.. but their love reached a level where u r together even after being apart.
