Sookie, it may be a new character in itself. Changes for the better are okay, but not for the worse. But isn't the new one quite opposite to the original Nupur. The confident girl has been turned into one constantly looking for reassurances. One who treats her man as a lapdog ('Go fetch' a perfect example). One who so obssessed with getting married that she cannot see anything beyond it (career).

excellent post sookie, hope to comment in detail soon. Though almost everyone has said what i would have liked to write. I just hope someone from the creative team reads this and seriuosly work on getting back mayank and nupur.

I guess, i fell in love with mayank, nupur and mayur all over again.
