Gurlz..Since, we are not able to drive this point across to these people's thick brains, & we have tried posting our views & thoughts on the CJ Thread endlessly on this topic, is there any other way of doing it.....does Rati have a mail id where we can write to her & which she reads hopefully, to speak to the people behind the show & try & abort this destruction of Nupur's character?

Can we do something before she sinks & disappears into the abysmal pit of "Dodofication", as Anu has rightly pointed out!

Is there a way out of this?

I really don't have ANY stamina left to rant about the characters of Mayank n Nupur, I have already ranted so much that I am just tired and gave up defeated.......

The murder of Nupur's character on this show has hurt me the most, even after the death of Mayank'c character , I was trying to seek respite in Nupur but alas! She has been murdered too......and it pains me a lot because she was my most favorite character on the show because I could RELATE with her liveliness, sharp wit, movie obsession, drooling over b'wod heroes, being mad about SRK, co-relating to things while studying to memorize concepts (perhaps this was the ONLY time we were ever shown the intelligent side of Nupur).....if one watches Diwali episodes, one can know how Nupur is not a dumbo or a clown - she had a mind of her own, despite not being bookish or highly knowledgeable like Mayank she was intelligent in her own way for she had perceptible abilities (her digs at the Saas-Bahu soaps while discussing the project topic with M's mom is an example of the same), a sharp contrast to Mayank whose understanding of things was based on rationalizing and logic. I do not know why her sensitive and sensible side seems confined to Gunjan only......

@Rupa: There is no way to get anything across....I'm sure the actors are more than aware of what's happening to their characters....guess they don't have many choices either.


@Mimz: I completely concur with your last para.....the fact that as abysmal a show as this is still on air is really cringe-inducing.....If only such a thing were to happen that the TRPs reflect the 'quality' of this show as well and take a straight nose dive.
