Nupur - before & after

I used to love nupur's character as it was unique, fresh and funny. But sadly from past few episodes I find her dialogues random and all over the place, making not much of a sense. Before, all her lines used to be perfectly written and mayank's sarcastic replies wud give them extra flavour. These days mayank has stopped being his normal sarcastic self wid her....for obvious reason and her dialogues r just too odd. Every word that comes out of nupur's mouth is intended towards being funny, but my question is why does it always have to be that way. why can't there be some moderation. say for e.g yesterday when all the characters were trying to crack the code and she was trying to convince uday to go after RV.....why did it had to be so dramatic. Though I liked tht rakhi waali line but tht cud have been given to benji. Imagine that very scene this way.....after mayank shouted at uday, nupur stopped mayank and went to uday. instead of wht she said in the episode if she wud have said....(in a very normal and serious tone) "uday bhayiya is situation ki seriousness ko samajhiye. diya rv ke saath gayi hai. rv agar samrat ke saath aisa kar sakta hai to sochiye ki woh diya ke saath kya kar sakta hai. aap diya ke bhai hain....it's ur duty to make sure she is safe." now listening to such serious and sensible words from her mouth everyone is stunned sp. mayank. looking at everyone's expressions nupur says "kya hua....main kya koi joker hoon jo hamesha joke maarungi.....main bhi kabhi kabhi serious ho sakti hun"....and this line brings her back to her character. All i'm saying is it's not always necessary for her to be funny and filmy. I also want her to impress mayank by doing and saying smart things. They should show an intelligent side to her as well.... specially now that she is in r'ship wid a guy who has always valued intelligence. sad part is she is now become the magnified dodo version of nupur and nothing like what she used to be. In my opinion her sense of humour should infact become more subtle and smart now tht she is in a r'ship wid a guy like mayank.
My only request to creatives is tht give characters some space to expand and grow for good but tht does not mean tht these characters have to be ruined. In my opinion mayank's character was one of the best sketched character of all times. he was this ideal frd, son, student....yet realistic and cud have been an ideal boyfriend. changes do come after someone gets into a r'ship but the changes tht have been shown are written wid nupur's style and choices in mind not mayank's thinking and way of life. His changes r directed to please nupur all the time. Mayank was a kind of character wid so much confidence, attitude and substance that even if he has to please someone he wud do it his way. He is shown to be intelligent enough to do things in his style still leaving a lasting impression. He being the mature one should be able to balance out their r'ship incorporating both his simplicity and nupur's funny filmy ways in moderation.
I guess i've rambled on too much and sorry tht this post has become so long specially this being my first one. But wud love to read your views on this topic. I'm sorry if this post offends anyone in anyway. I respect everyones POV and this is just my opinion.

If nupur 2 becomes serious...everything will come upside down dear. Nupur is always funny, but v can also see her other faces like a caring sis wid gunjan, angry(their nok-joks) nd also romantic with mayu, friendly with samrat, benji, angry with sheena. She is the 1character in d show which goes thru all the emotions. I realy want her 2 b like this, and 1 more thing, there is no use of nupur being stern 2 dodo, bcoz after all he is our dodo. I still love nupurs character. Juz my opinion.

exactly.....its becoming to silly all of a sudden.....i mean in all the so called serious situations she said to be funny and we are left silly....its absolutely unnecessary....whether its with the havaldar "kaka" or with uday or even with the pool boy yest......

You said it!! Nupur the most spunky, adorable, natural character in the show has been reduced to the female comic- relief of the show, or as u aptly put it the Female Dodo. Earlier she was filmy but sharp, witty, fearless and totally bindass! It was a treat to watch her in action. Now they give her the stupidest lines and make her out to be a silly, dumb,brainless bimbo! And Mayank has lost all his wit & charm & turned into her lapdog! Its unbelieveable how much the creatives have damaged their characters......And its amazing that the actors are taking it lying down!!

And all this at the expense of promoting cardboard characters who completely lack uniqueness, cud have walked out of any other show or movie, cause they are standard staple for love stories. Well, guess no amount of harping is gonna get any results here, cause this seems to be the pattern with all TV shows on this channel. They start with lots of promise and then sideline or compromise the best characters at the expense of the main leads!!

i have to completel agree with u dear...........nupur's character was previously soo endearing to me bcoz of its uniqueness.....it was soo real, far from all the annoying stereotypes we r used to seeing...............but now they r turning her into annoying joker....

@bold: I love that bit you've written out....but alas, that's too much of a sensibility to expect from the useless 'creatives' of this show.....I don't watch this show anymore and haven't watched the original scene you're talking about but I love the alternate version you recommended👍🏼

@blue: Once again, a great point....this has been said by many ppl here before also but the creatives are more interested in showing brainless nonsense 24/7 instead....the dodofication of Nupur has just been disgusting to watch🤢.....

@red: You've just expressed it PERFECTLY!👏 There can be NO better reply to all those ppl here saying that love 'changes' ppl....yes it changes them....but NOT in the manner that's been shown in this show🤢......the underlined part is the problem with this show in a nutshell....WHY have all the changes in M's character been made with N's taste and choices in mind?? And even then, it's all been so tackily exaggerated....even N's choice was never this bad🤢

You've nailed it! Nupur has not grown as a character. Infact her character has deteriorated. Her comedy seems forced for the sake of adding comic relief to the show making her seem almost insensitive. In another *cough* show, all the serious issues are dealt with in such a comical manner making them seem high handed ... thus losing their sensitivity. Nupur is not a clown of this show. We have Uday and Benji for that. No need to make Nupur have her last word and try to impress Mayank ALL the time. Makes her character lose depth, if ever there was any!
