Interesting question....well like you said a smooch on indian telly is highly impossible. As for a forehead kiss...I just think saying I love you doesn't mean you have to kiss or whatever...They haven't even held hands for a long period of time and their hugs have moments of their own....I think it'll be awhile for them to get to a forehead or even cheek kiss. I don't think it's a matter of what century you are living in...it's about the feelings and physical comfort level.

I myself am not a big fan of long stares, but I've gotten used to that since every show provides ample of staring competitions between leads. 😆

Yeh, I am talking about that Love Story kiss that was really cute although it was lifted from some movie but it was cute...would love to see something like this on MN.

I don't think that creatives will ever show any romantic scene b/w MN now!....They are a couple now, so creatives have literally completed their job with respect to them!.....Now the new forming couples will have all the romantic scenes since they are still not a couple and are in the process of becoming one!....So now only Rania and sajan are the ones entitled for such scenes!....MN are done now!...
I have quitted this show long back....so i dunno what is going on in it....but reading the views of all u guys, i came to the above conclusion...so have written it!....No offence meant!😊

I don't watch the episodes so not sure about whether their scenes compensate for a kiss, but it is a good point you raised. There is lots of stares in Indian television and never any kisses (i.e. not a peck on the cheek/forehead).

Long stares (as I understand them) are meant to show the love between two characters. They love each other so much that they can continue staring at each other forever.

Kisses are also meant to show love, but somehow it seems that on Indian television, kissing does not amount to the same love as stares do.

I hope that made some sense. 🤔
