Okay I'd promised I'd stay out of it, but couldn't resist posting over here.... I don't get how some of the SGians feel that the creatives are not biased against MayUr...
When the creatives give the other couple amazing quality scenes and well-progressed storyline and constantly MN random low-grade, scenes which don't suit their character, and are misplaced in the show, isn't that bais against MN???
When the creatives show an intimate SG dance, a BRILLIANT and passionate RV-Dia dance (who are the 2nd leads, not the main leads) but for MN - the MAJOR focus of the play track they show some ropes and gundagiri (which really made me laugh out loud 🤣🤣🤣) Isn't that bais against MN???
When the creatives call the play a kick-ass MN track, but all the kick-ass scenes go to the other characters, and MN get the horribly edited scenes, isn't that a bias against MN???
When the creatives says that the plays main focus is MN, yet the MAIN leads of the play get the worst dresses compared to the other leads, Isn't that a bias against MN???
When the creatives promise that 'Fanaa' is a purely MN song, is it wrong for the Mayurians to assume that the song will be just Mayank and Nupur and about their love... Is it wrong for MNians to complain about SG intercutting in the dance? This isn't a Kajra Re or Khudaa Jaane dance btw, its a special dance for MN. How would SGians feel if they showed Mayank and Nupur in Gunjan's realization of love song. Wouldn't that undermine the quality of Gunjan's song??? Its the same over here.... Now, that the creatives again have tried to undermine the quality of MN's song, isn't that a bias against MN???
Honestly, MayUr are supposed to have a confession in this play, yet, where is the storyline, where are the emotional moments, where are the meaningful MayUr scenes? It seems all the emotional moments and meaningful scenes go to SaJan... Isn't that a bias against MayUr???
So I don't see how we're unjustified to complain about the show. This is just not a 'little issue' over here... you wouldn't want MN getting the lion's share of the show, when the focus is on Samrat and his realization of love, would you???
And honestly, most MN fans have nothing against SG. They just bring up SG to illustrate precisely how the creatives are biased against MN. They aren't saying SG are bad and should be cut off.... And I think it is VERY unfair, to group all the MayUr fans as 'irrational' just based on certain rude MN fans who have compared SG to Sheena... Sorry, please don't generalize... And, honestly, I'm sure many SG fans agree that MN's storyline is deteriorating, then how can some of them complain when the MN fans are complaining and not exactly 'tolerating' the track??? Its not about screen-space alone!!! 😕
The point is, MayUr aren't given any good quality scenes in their own so-called love track... Their scenes seems misplaced and just coming out of nowhere... They get the worst clothes... They don't get any proper storyline and development of their love WITH the help of the play... Honestly, is this the way a show would treat its LEAD couple? If not, then I think MNians have full right to raise criticism against the show.
My suggestion to my fellow MNians, feel free to take it or leave it, is to stop watching the show until the MN are treated as bonafide leads of the show. Ultimately, more than credibility, popularity matters. And the show-makers will hopefully make changes to the MN track when they see the trps plummeting... However, if they don't do anything about it, then you can sleep well at night assured that you made the right decision to stop watching the show, knowing that MN would have always gotten the short end of the script 😊.
