things you need to know about me...
1) i am ancient
2) i started watching MJHT regularly very recently, which means i didn't know MUM made presentations without a laptop....

the plot thickens, mystery deepens...as to why technology is sooooooo ignored in the show!

If I am not wrong the word academician is generally used in reference to teachers or lecturers although it can mean a scholar, right? I am not sure 😕 😕 Our English teacher might be of some help here...

Ohh BTW I also find it intriguing that Mayank has not enrolled in any computer course and is not attending coaching classes for competitive exams like CAT,GRE etc....I can assume that he doesn't find the need to take coaching but a comp course in a programming language like C? Whether or not it is useful, generally students flock to comp courses outside college, don't they?

as for academician, yup it refers to someone who has made academics his'her choice of career, so you have to be involved in some kind of dissemination of knowledge. either practical, in the form of lectures and classes, or theoretical in the form of papers and research material that contributes to the general knowledge bank...don't see how an encyclopedia can help, but well!!

as for the competitive exams (ah my territory finally!!) you take the exams ideally in your final year, some even take a break after graduating to ensure a decent performance. mayank and nupur are in their first year, yes? the other msytery of the show...dia and uday are twins, but uday is a batch senior to her in college...

@Aarti: Yaar time on IF is thodi na wasted! Look at me! I'm here 24/7 and I gain soooooo much important knowledge! :P🤣🤣

@anu...well then here's to all the important knowledge we gain from IF...no but i was serious about the DBMS stuff kavya was talking about...had no clue...wiser now!
