But the 'aur paas' scene has already been done in so many other shows :S....I really don't want to see it repeated on MN as well....it's been overdone now I feel.....MN should have something different.

It has, Debby....it's been done in DMG with Armaan-Riddhima and that kinda became iconic.....I've always appreciated the fact that MN are different from all that and I wouldn't want that to change.....I somehow can't bring myself to picture Mayank saying 'aur paas, aur paas'....I might crack up if he does that😕😆

In that case, no aur paas.. 😉 I also dont want them to do something that's been oft done before...
@blue: 😆 😆 really? Yeah.. maybe.. it depends on the build up to the situation though. Certain things you picture differently and they come out in totally different shades.. Like the precap yesterday. The running around the trees was what? 😆😆 And Nupur didnt seem to have associated a shred of emotion behind the roses.. She seemed more genuine when she offered him the yellow, saying they stood for their friendship. And come on, she isnt that naive. If you are giving someone red roses - and esp if that is someone like Mayank - you better know what you really want..

LOL yeah, I guess sometimes we just picture things differently in our head and it turns out different on-screen.....Mayank's current khadoos avatar has cemented so much in my mind that I guess I can't picture him in the 'aur paas' mode as easily....lol.....oh well, guess it all depends on how they set up that situation when the time comes.

And I really shouldn't talk about the pre-cap from yesterday....I'm not a big fan of it....have been venting about it in the expectations thread too....lol

I TOTALLY agree! This red roses bit has just killed everything! I wish they'd stopped at yellow roses only....Nupur was more understandable in that bit...now she's just being shown to be a bimbo :S

@bold: exactly the point! Lets see what Mayank does to change this image in our heads..

I too wish they had stopped at yellow. There was no justification behind giving him red roses... even in his denial state, I wouldn't have minded had Mayank woken up in the morning, got re-possessed with the love ghost and gone ahead to give Nupur some red roses.. But what Nupur is being made to do just seems so artificial. I am glad Rose day ends today... 😆

Exactly....they have handled this in the most inane artificial way possible.....and Nupur has sadly been made the bali ka bakraa to pull a Dodo on all of us and come up with such demented logic for giving Mayank red roses😕😕.....Dunno what made the creatives think that MN fans are so desperate to see red roses being exchanged😕.....To think that MN have been reduced to slapstick comedy like running around trees senselessly🤢

@blue: Maybe they are under the impression that if they show us anything for a considerable run time, we will be humoured. Its sad that the basics are wrong. We want a good, sensible track and then I think I wont mind even a smaller run time as much as such superficiality is troubling me..
