Episode starts with Gunjan putting rangoli, and Nupur helping her. They reminiscence about Diwali in Morena and about their father. Their uncle comes and wishes them a happy Diwali.... The girls are sad remembering their father, their uncle comforts them... The girls hug him....

Uday comes, wishing everyone a happy new year. :/ His dad corrects him and Uday thanks the Lord that Diya didn't hear him, "nahi toh gaal pe pathaka phod deti..." He screams for Diya, who arrives irritated.
EVEN ON DIWALI DIYA'S WEARING THAT FROU FROU..... UH, WHAT DO YOU EVEN CALL THAT THING?!?!!?!? NEGLIGEE?!!? GUH. 🤢🤢🤢
Diya notices everyone all dressed up and asks, who's wedding they're going to.... Her dad tells her it's Diwali... She leaves to get ready, while Uday tells dad that he's looking "kaafi handsome" today. 😆 He suddenly remembers that some "Shashi Bhushan" called asking for G/N.... N exclaims tha their father had called? Uday remembers that it was his uncle and makes the excuse that he couldn't really hear anything because of the firecrackers and "the smoke in his ears" and that he's sure he'll call back.... Uncle diffuses the situation by saying he's hungry [so am I, daddy cool. So am I.] and N informs him G's cooking is amazing.
Meanwhile, on the other, handsomer, VEST clad side of the town, lies a slumbering Mayank. 😍😍😍
SLEEPING AT 12 NOON, ON DIWALI?!!?!?!???!?!!? Wow, didn't expect MAYANK to be that way... I always thought he'd be that over enthusiastic kid whod get up and bathe and run around all ready, while other people were hitting snooze on their alarms..... Wow. The demi god is human afterall. 😆
Mom opens curtains, Mayank makes faces. Mom tries to wake Mayank, M does bahaanebaazi. Mom tries tickling, doesn't work. Mom exclaims "Nupur, you here?!!?",

Mayank gets up in a jiffy. M does bahaanebaazi that mom is right, they have to wish the neighbours, and he has to make some important phone calls. Mom asks if it's Nupur he has to call and he replies in the affirmative all chuimui si.... Mom leaves teasing him, M follows protesting that "aisa kuch nahi hai...!"

Nupur is getting ready, while G compliments her and tells her she looks just like Madhuri.... Nupur looks non believing for a second and then asks "Pakka na??" She says that it's the first time she's meeting Mayank's mom, and she wants to make an impression on her.... She asks G is "zyaada ho gaya??"

Their dad wishes her a happ Diwali... N snatches the phone and tells him to have a lot of fun, eat a lot of sweets and burst a lot of crackers. G takes the phone to tell dad to not eat too many sweets and look after himself. D tells them Diwali feels incomplete without them. G cries, and N takes the phone to quickly tell dad not to worry about them.... *scene gets cut off on the video here*
N is outside Mayank's house, smoothing down her hair and everything. She rings the bell and then sees a mirror near the door....

N is embarassed as M's mom laughs at her.... Nupur stammers that she's is happy to meet her, as mom returns the compliment. Mom guesses that she is Nupur, introduces herself as Mayank's mom. They go inside.
Dude, I'd died of mortification if the door opened while I was being.... well... me... in front of the mirror... Coz I go kinda crazy in front of shiny, reflective surfaces..... Blowing kisses and doing a lil channe ke khet mein step and all that.... 😳
Mom affectionately wishes N happy Diwali and N touches her feet. Mom blesses her and tells her that she's looking really pretty. N launches into an excited tirade on how she was actually looking for a pink dress but she didn't get one and how disappointed she was, but then her sister reminded her that "all colours look good on me...!" 😆😆😆 She then stops awkwardly and tells mom that she must think that N talks a lot.... M's mom laughs and tells her that Mayank had already told her about that, but he didnt tell her she looked so cute while doing it. She leaves to get sweets for Nupur. N goes and demurely sits on the sofa, all shy because of the compliment. 😆😆😆

G is all ready and going out, as Diya stops her and asks her how she's looking. G replies that she's looking nice. DIya replies that she always looks good, but where is G going so dressed up. Annie calls D, saying that it was very weird how Samrat told her not to come before 10 pm, while inviting her for the party. G quickly slinks away. 😛 Diya hangs up with Annie, irritated.
Diya, you prettyyyyyyy. They should really just let her have longer hair.... And I don't know why, but I really do like Diya's character and her hot headedness and all... I'm even getting used to her voice. [Is there a Diya AT here? I'm sure I saw one somewhere....]
