Outhouse
Ru's head on Sim's lap.. both gazing at each other .. and talking. Ru says, "We should not look at our past now..we need to live in our present and think about our future.." Sim looks up, realises its 4am and is shocked..tells Ru, "OMG..its 4am..get up..what if anyone comes here looking for me?" Ru replies, "so let them come na..I'm with my wife..not a stranger!" (choooo cute😳) Simran gives him the 'whatever' look.. hehe..
RuSim opens the main door of the house..sees that no one is around and both RuSim slowly sneak in.. They're walking towards the stairs upto their room, when Ru sees Naresh walk out of his room.. Ru doesn't know what to do and quickly hides Sim behind the curtain. Naresh comes upto Ru and asks him where is he going so early.. Ru says, "to the office". Naresh asks, "so early in the morning? And with such clothes? Anyone called?" Sim (holding Ru's hand throughout) laughs from behind the curtain. Ru fumbles (chooo adorable!😳), says, "I woke up early..so thought I'll go to the office..and receive all calls there.." Naresh says, "I think you've forgotten that today is a holiday.." Ru is like 'ohhhh'.. Simran laughs.. Naresh continues, "and just to remind you that Rajveer, his brother and their entire family is coming for lunch today" Ru says, "I'm so sorry papa..it slipped out of my mind. Something is happening to my memory these days" (ofcourse Ru darling.. you only have Sim in your memory these days😆) Naresh says, "at this age if this is your condition..what will happen when you reach my age?" 😆 Sim teasingly pulls his hand.. Naresh continues, "tell your mother to give you badam & chyawanprash everyday.." 😆 Ru looks at Naresh..says, "yeah sure..badam & chyawanprash..I'll tell her" Naresh says, "now that you're awake..come and have tea with me" Ru says,"uhhh..I'm feeling sleepy..I'll go get some sleep" Naresh says, "come with me..come and see whats happening in the world.. what will you get sleeping?" Ru fumbles with uhhh's & ahhh's.. Naresh says, "what uhhh & ahhh.." Sim laughing "I'm happy you're starting your day so early in the morning..now come with me" Ru finally gives in, says, "if you say so papa..I'm coming" Ru walks a bit ahead but Sim pulls his hand.. Ru lets go of her hand and follows Naresh.. Sim laughing.. 😆😆
Ru-Sim room..
Sim, just out of a shower.. very shy.. thinks of Ru and all the moments they spent with each other the previous night.. Sim picks up the necklace Ru gifted her..lovingly looks at it.. puts it in the jewellery box and into the cupboard. SC is looking at Sim from outside the room window (does she have no other work..ughhhh😡) SC sees Sim very happy and content and thinks to herself, "Sim you're very happy today..but not for long. If I don't ruin your happiness today, my name is not Sandy (woman..high time you go change your name!😡😆)
Rajveer's House
Rajveer tells Kiran to get ready quick or they'll be late for lunch at Oberoi house.. Mini comes there, happily announces that she is ready to go.. Rajveer tells her not to be so hyper there..to control herself. Mini agrees.. Som (Rajveer's cousin) calls out for his wife & daughter.. Both come out in a hurry.. Som's daughter (whats her name) is upset they have to go for lunch..tells her parents that she wanted to go shopping and doesn't enjoy such get-togethers and all the artificial talks.. Angie tells her daughter that she too was thinking the same.. Som tells Angie that obviously their daughter will think like her..after all, she is her daughter. Angie gets angry..Som says, he meant that now since they're staying here they also need to socialise here.. Angie & Som getting down the stairs..see Rajveer & Mini standing there and Angie says she loves meeting such good people..and we also need to see how happy Sim is in her new house. Som says he too wants to go just to see how happy Sim is.. Rajveer turns around and sees Kiran all dressed up and compliments her on how beautiful she looks.. Angie asks Kiran if she looks okay.. Kiran replies that she is looking very pretty and the dress suits her a lot. Angie gets high-handed and says that she is not sure if Sim's in-laws will understand her dress sense or not.. there is so much difference in India & America.. India is like 30-40 years behind. Mini reacts very sarcastically..tells Angie that she is right, India's sense of dressing is very backward.. Angie gets angry at Mini's sarcastic remarks.. Angie says she is not a fool that she doesn't understand. Mini laughs at Angie calling herself a fool.. Angie gets angry and threatens that she will not go anywhere until Mini does not apologise. Angie is furious at Mini..tells her that Mini has insulted her.. and asks Rajveer to intervene. Rajveer tells Mini off and says they should leave now.. Angie says she will not leave until Mini does not apologise.. Rajveer asks Mini to apologise..Mini says she didn't say much in the first place.. Angie tells Rajveer that if Mini can talk to him like that..how must she behaving otherwise.. Mini hesitates..Rajveer shouts at Mini and asks her to apologise. Mini is shocked & hurt..and apologises to Angie. Angie says its okay..as it is, this is American ettiquete, she might not understand. They leave.. Before going, Mini vows that she will break Angie's arrogance and bring her out of this American hang-over of hers..
Oberoi House
Guests arrive.. they all greet each other. Angie sees the house and tells everyone that they lived in a bigger house in America..and she knows how much it takes to maintain such a big house. Naresh tells Som that he will show him the house..while the ladies sit and gossip. Angie looks at the things around and admires everything.. talks about how royal people like royal things.. Mini interrupts..asks Angie that since she has lived in such a big house before, how does she manage in their small house.. Angie ignores Mini and goes on to admire the jewellery that Dadi is wearing.. asks Dadi if she bought the jewellery in India or abroad? Dadi says she buys everything in India.. Angie says despite buying in India, its good.. SC comes to the living room and Dadi introduces SC to Angie as her daughter-in-law.. Mini tells SC that Angie's real name is Anjana but in America everyone call her Angie.. SC compliments Angie on her looks.. Angie is happy..and in turn compliments SC on the necklace she is wearing.. SC hits upon an idea.. SC tells Angie that her jewellery set is nothing compared to what Sim has..especially the diamond necklace. Sim wonders what SC is getting to.. Angie asks if she could see the necklace.. SC tells Sim to show it to everyone.. Dadi agrees.. Sim leaves to get the necklace..
Ru-Sim's room..
Sim looks into the cupboard and is shocked to find her necklace missing.. Sim looks around but can't find it. Sim gets nervous.. then recollects what SC said to everyone about Sim's necklace.
Sim comes back to the living room and wonders why SC spoke about her necklace today.. that too in front of so many people. Sim realises SC is upto something..and knows that she cannot trust SC with anything as she can go to any lengths.. Everyone ask Sim what happened about the necklace.. Ru asks Sim where is the necklace.. Angie says its okay, she can see it another time.. Sim turns it around and tells everyone that SC has her necklace.. SC is shocked.. Sim smiles at SC and tells her that she had asked SC to keep the necklace in her locker.. SC is shocked and gets nervous.. asks Sim to check her room again. Sim says she just checked everywhere then realised that she had given it to SC.. Sim tells SC to get up and they will check in her locker.. Arpita agrees and says if Sim is saying then the necklace must be in SC's locker only.. Angie says even she will go..
SC's room
Sim looks around in SC's room.. then checks her cupboard and finds her necklace there. SC fumbles and tells everyone that she must have kept it there and forgot.. Sim smiles at SC and tells her not to take too much stress..as it is she takes care of the entire family..and stress levels are not good at this age..plus memory also gets weak. SC looks at Sim in anger.. Sim is all smiles. Arpita & Dadi smile at what Sim says.. Angie looks on curious.. Angie gets excited looking at the necklace..tells Sim it suits her a lot. Dadi is happy that this problem got solved..and tells them they should leave as everyone is waiting. SC looks at Sim in anger.. Sim smiles back at SC
