" 6 months passed away , after facing the most horrifying phase of our lives , things became a bit stable, but papa ...I'm still having insecurities of how our life will be shaped further , what's goanna happen next , will life be still the same as it is now or will it play more & more cruel games with us , how I wish you were by our side papa , the time when we needed your support , now maa is not here as well ...i miss you and maa a lot. " ishani thought this will sitting on the edge of the terrace , a tear drop rolled down her cheek as she reminisced old memories of her father .
After a while ranveer came to the terrace searching for ishani , he found her sitting right there in the corner looking at the night sky , a tired smile appearing on his face at her sight as he knew what she was thinking .
" Hmm...so after facing this much and shedding bucket full of tears in my absence somebody is hell-bent to carry on her talent of being rondu no.1 ?" said ranveer , smirking .
Ranveer , please ...i'm not in a mood " ishani said this while making a tiresome face . " Ishani , I know , mota babuji ko miss kar rahi ho na ", ishani nodded slightly in response . " But ishani , you know mota babuji & falguni maa never left us , they were and always will be there as they love you a lot , can you see those 2 stars up there " ranveer pointed towards a pair of most bright stars . " See those are mota babuji & falguni maa always keeping a watch on us ...and now if you will cry more than surly both will haunt me in night scolding me for not taking care of you."
Ishani gave a slight laugh on his statement , " Ranveer , maa was certainly correct , you are indeed the shadow of papa , I'm really the luckiest girl on earth to have such a good friend , lover and would be ... & ex - husband on my side ." Ishani said while correcting end part of her statement moronically.
"No Ishani I feel the lucky one to have my forbidden most precious angel with me , the love which I thought will always remain one sided is finally reciprocated ...um , not so completely , still." Saying this ranveer came near ishani , drowning in the deep eyes he had fallen for , every minute , every second ... " This love was meant to be reciprocated equally ranveer , how can the almighty do injustice with such a kind hearted person like you , who always faced so much for his love or sometimes due to his love."Ishani said this with brimmed eyes ."So what are you waiting for sunny." The answer came suddenly " SHAADI !! "
Ranveer-"damn !". "Ab janab ko agar romance hi karna hai toh itna wait toh karna padega na "Ishani said teasingly while ranveer pouted in a playful manner . " Kya yaar sunny , now don't act to be this much sanskari bhartiya nari , please." Ishani laughed whole heartedly by doing popat of ranveer , while he was just busy staring her with those pair of puppy eyes , full of love and affection for his lady love , a smile automatically appearing on his face ." Ishani , I never expected you as my love was not physical and also will never be , I loved your soul , I loved seeing you happy just like this devoid of any worry ...I wish my happiness will be all yours & all your sorrows be mine , just be like this , forever." Ranveer said to himself & smiled.
Suddenly ishani rubbed the tip of her nose , and ranveer absent mindedly copied her . After a sudden pause , ishani burst out into tons of laughter as well as ranveer.
After laughing like idiots for a while , they both shared a sweet eye lock , as tough communicating a lot more through eyes , contended to see each other this much happy after a long time .
"Ranveer , you know , I always think why is life this unfair for us , first I hated you , then you became angry with me & when both of us were happy events took a drastic evil turn ...i mean , why our life can be just normal , simple."
"Ishani , sometimes I too think the same , but then I feel if life hadn't been problematic for us we wouldn't have been able to realize how much vulnerable are both of us without each other , how much we love each other . You see happy & sad phases are two sides of a coin , life is just simply not life without ups & downs , remember mota babuji always told us that there is a dawn after every dark night and vice-versa , we should always have faith in this cycle."
"I have ranveer but-" ishani was interrupted by ranveer.
" Look dear" ranveer said this while taking ishani's hand in his own ,caressing her right cheek and continued ,"Everything happens for a cause , nail it . We became best friends , we were always there for each other whenever we faced humiliation by the world and developed a strong bond , and there I was happy with my confidential feelings for you , but see true love can't be hidden I had to confront you one day ."
" But ranveer then why did this chirag entered in our lives , he harmed you so much for no reason."
"See ishani , if chirkut hadn't entered our lives , then someday or the other mota babuji would've married you to some other nice guy , then what , my love would've remained one-sided & you might've been unaware of my feelings for whole life ."
" Ya , but look you revealed the truth of chirag , and what we did threw you , baba & kaki on road."Ishani said this in apologetic tone.
"Aw...sweetie , this too has a reason , see this made me return as a business tycoon in order to save you from that chindi chirkut."ishani chuckled , ranveer continued "Then our mahaan destiny played it's part and we got married."
"Then time made me realize your love , but then you got shot & things changed as you became a bit angry , this was because I too needed to face all this as I deserved all this for being harsh to you earlier" continued ishani . " I'm so sorry ishani for that I know I was being too rude to you . "
" No ranveer , it was just a matter of tit-for-tat ."
" Then our differences got sorted out & everything was in peace of a short period." Both reminisced those moments for some time , feeling a calm spreading in their hearts.
"And then mahaan ishani devi's mahaan decision of saving her hubby from murder blame came." Ishani lowered her head "ranveer I thought -"
"You thought that I accidently killed him , ishani if this was so , you could've told me I might have solved this in seconds , but due to your one decision of saving me you gave me a punishment more dreadful than being jailed -A LIFE WITHOUT YOU"
"ranveer , I was not intended to " ishani said sobbing.
"Arre don't cry babu , please , I just meant that in order to see me happy you have to keep yourself happy ."
" You are just oblivious ishani , of how many sleepless night I spent thinking of your condition , din't left any stone unturned to free you but because of your stubbornness you made me feel as though I failed in protecting you , I was just a living corpse .You know the day I heard the news of you being hanged , I felt as though my soul went away with you. I would've even committed suicide but was taken aback as my family was dependant on me , I was forced to live for the sake of them , lifelessly. "
" Then I too did the biggest mistake of my life , claiming that psycho as my wife even though not married to her ."
"Ranveer no need to blame yourself for this , amba kaki told me that she was the one who forced you to marry ritika , you pity on her as she was pregnant and lost her father at the same time , you did all this in order to save her name , not your fault at all."
"Thank you for understanding me so well ishani , see to save & support you when I was not there , shikhar came ."
" And I idiot agreed to marry him thinking you moved on with ri-"Ishani was not even able to complete her line , it just hurt her like anything , her own words piercing her heart.

"Then you came to know rascal ritika's true intentions and came to save me , and that rascal killed falguni maa , chirag due to which you suffered in jail for six months , and also s-t-a-b-b-e-d you" ranveer was boiling with anger , at the same time was feeling as if somebody was ripping his soul apart by thinking of how much his ishani had suffered in all this.
"But ranveer as you say everything has a reason , this was my punishment for making you suffer like hell."
"If this is so , then why din't you tried to tell me ritika's truth , you thought I wouldn't believe you and did that ML drama , you should've tried to tell me ishani."

He felt himself choked by ishani's apology, he tried to cheer her up . " Ishani but agar tum mujhe pehle batati toh rv apna superhit plan pehle hi work me laata , dekha na kais ek din main us ritika ka parda fash kiya , han last main idiotic ho gaya tha lekin i succeeded ."
"Baas baas , jyada udo mat maine bi bahut try kiya , but you were lucky ." said ishani in a defeated tone , Ranveer bowed.
"But see ishani in this also you suffered dear , you saw my fake marriage & wedding prep infront of your eyes."
"Again tit-for-tat , you too once saw my wedding prep at chirag's time na."
"And see then you got kidnapped , that too because MY enemy wanted revenge from ME ."
"But ranveer akir main saub kuch thik ho gaya na ." ishani said with a smile on her face .
"Hm...so , dekha , everything happens for a cause , our actions were a result of the influence of our circumstances , shayad hum dono ki dimag ki batti eksath rehkar hi jalti hai , when apart our brains just go on vacation."
Ishani laughed . Suddenly it started raining .
"Hey ranveer , look it's raining !" ishani said enthusiastically.
"No ishani stop you'll catch cold ."
But ishani din't listended to him & started enjoying the rain.
"Ishani tumne ajtak bahut kuch jhela, woh bi mere liye , jo insaan tumhari kushi chahta tha uski khushi ke liye tum apni kushi bhul gayi...lekin ab meri ishani wapis aa chuki hai , ab main tumhe kahi nahi jane dunga , duniya ke har burayi se bachaunga , kabhi kabhi sochta hun ki kash hum bacche hi rehte , jinhe duniya ke bure , gande kelon se koyi matlab nahi tha , hum apni dosti ki choti si duniya main hi kush the , lekin who kehte hai na , zindagi toh chalti rahegi , aur waqut bhi , lekin ab tum bas khushiyan hi dekhogi , burayi ko chune bhi nahi dunga tumhe , saare dukh kudh sahunga , tumhari dhaal banke , I promise ...kyunki meri aashiqui sirf aur sirf tum se hi" said ranveer to himself while admiring ishani .
