Amit Tandon, who was last seen as Ishita's (Divyanka Tripathi) ex-lover Subbu, will soon enter Ekta Kapoor's Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi. He will play a kidnapper in the show ans the track will last for about six episodes. Amit confirms, "I will play Rajat and it's a negative character. This is my first cameo appearance in any show. What made me take it up was the fact that it's for Balaji Telefilms. I try to never say no to them as they have always given me powerful roles. Also, it gave me the opportunity to work with Colors, which is the only channel I am yet to work with. My character name is Rajat." The actor says that he prefers negative to positive roles. "I always look for strong roles and I prefer playing grey characters than an out and out good guy role as they tend to become a bit boring, eventually. I always say it's nice to be good but better to be bad at least on TV," he says.
