It might be just fake rituals and mangal sutra might be shown as a dream sequence for Ritika. As for Bidaii statement, it seems to be invented. Ranveer want to expose Ritika which Ishani herself wanted to do all the while, but i believe on RV, not on CVs though, that he won't hurt Ishani which he can if he fake mry tht evil. He might be on the mission to expose Ritika which Ishani left, but not at the cost of hurting Ishani and himself too in this process...bcoz even if it's fake it's going to play on their minds in their lives forever!

That's the phrase '' Ranveer says this mrg isn't going to be binded'' or something on those lines b4 hand. He won't make promises in mind while doing pheras which make their purpose null. He isn't going to participate in those rituals honestly saying and agreeing with them in heart and head that he is going to fulfill them and the wedding won't get completed.
