Chapter 7

As the day passed, Everyone were in their room, getting ready for evening's party. Ritika was very happy, thinking that she has almost won the challenge. On the other side, Ishani had no reaction. She felt like she was dieing every moment.

Everyone were getting ready for today's party.

In Ranveer and Ishani's room

Ishani had no mood to attend the party, but she had no choice. She cared for Parul and didn't want her to get sad on her day. Ishani was standing in front of mirror, removing her saree pin, near her shoulders. After removing that pin, she went to bed and started folding her clothes. Her pallu fell down because she unpinned her pin. Ishani didn't notice that.

Ranveer slowly opened the door. Ishani didn't know that Ranveer opened the door. Ranveer saw Ishani who was busy with her clothes. Suddenly, Ranveer's eyes went to her exposed navel. He saw her pallu lying on the floor. Ranveer can't take his eyes off her. Seeing her white already exposed navel, Ranveer was gone crazy.

When Ishani turned around, she saw Ranveer. Seeing Ranveer, and noticing her pallu lying on the floor, Ishani turned around, hiding her navel with the pallu. There was silence for few seconds

"I am sorry" Ranveer said.

Ishani didn't utter a word. She turned around and took the clothes that were lying on the bed. She went to the cupboard and kept the clothes.

Ranveer was waiting for her reply but he didn't got one. So he went to cupboard and picked his outfit for the evening. He went to bathroom to change. After few minutes he came out, wearing a black tuxedo. He went to dressing table. He then realised that his shirt button was about to come out.

He turned around and saw Ishani who was folding her t-shirt but was lost somewhere else. "Is she still angry with me" - Ranveer thought.

Ranveer went to her and said, "Ishani are you ok?" Ishani came back to senses and saw Ranveer who was standing in front of her. She still didn't say anything. Ranveer got so worried by her behavior. "Ishani my shirt's button...can you fix it?" Ranveer asked politely.

Ishani gave him irked look and said, "Ranveer, why don't you ask Ritika, your bride to be."

Ranveer's face expression changed and didn't know what to say. "What happened Mr.Rv? I think so you are confused, am I right," said Ishani. Ranveer still remained mum.

"Ranveer, I know everything, everything!" Tears were rolling down from Ishani's eyes.

"Ishani" Ranveer saw Ishani's eyes were teary.

Ishani hold him by his collar in anger, "How can you do this Ranveer? How? How can you change this much? Why didn't you think of me once? Why? How can you forget those seven vows that we took during our marriage? How can you forget your love? How can you forget me? How can you forget my love? How can you forget that I love you?Give me the damn answer Ranveer! How can you forget that night, where we...we...How?" Ishani cried loudly, holding his collar tightly. Tears were rolling down from her eyes. Ranveer saw Ishani's eyes, which were red in anger.

"Ranveer, did you remember, the Karwa Chauth night? I went to Chirag's house but when I came back, you didn't trust me. You trusted those pictures. You thought that I still loved Chirag. You used to tell me na, that I never understood your love or never trusted you or your love. But Ranveer, just ask yourself now, did you ever trust your love? Ranveer, how can you forget that night in the hut? How can you forget that Ranveer? Ranveer what was the need to tell this all to Ritika and apologizing for it. Ranveer when I came here, I didn't see my picture. We had our picture near that bed. But, I saw yours and Ritika's picture. Ranveer, what happened you? Ranveer, I know you love me, then why Ranveer...why you doing this?"

Tears were rolling down from Ranveer's eyes. He felt really guilty. He just remained silent.

"Ranveer, what was the need to tell Ritika all this? This is the matter that should only stay between a husband and wife. Why did you go to her and apologized for that? You don't have to get married to her. Ranveer, how can you do this to me? Ranveer give me the damn answer!" Ishani shouted in anger, while holding his collar.

Ranveer was still numb, his eyes were wet due to tears. He got hold of her hands and he then stepped backwards. Ishani's eyes were also wet. Ranveer didn't know how to answer Ishani's questions. He left the room with wet eyes.

Ishani saw him leaving the room, she started crying, "Ranveer, what happened to you"

Downstairs

Ranveer was sitting on the chair near the bar, having drinks. There, Ritika, who was wearing baby pink gown, came to him. "RV, what's wrong with you...common leave it." Ritika kept the glass down. "RV, c'mon everyone wants to meet you." where he gave a smile went with Ritika. They went to some guests there, greeting them and started simple conversation. Ranveer eyes were gazing for Ishani, as he was not interested in their chats. "Mr.Rv, this party is amazing!" Mr.Singh said willingly, taking a sip of wine. "Thankyou Mr.Singh! Ranveer said.

Parul was talking with her friends, where her eyes went on the stairs. She saw Ishani in white and black gown, who looked like an angel "Bhabhi" Parul had a bright smile seeing her beautiful bhabhi. As Parul said that, Ranveer heard her and directly looked directly towards stairs. He saw Ishani, who was coming downstairs. He can't take his eyes off from her. Ritika saw Ranveer, who looked towards stairs. When she looked towards stairs, she saw Ishani coming down. She got really angry.

Ritika caught hold of Ranveer's hand and had a cunning smile. Ishani saw that ad she got angry. Ranveer looked at Ritika who gave him a smile. Then he saw Ishani whose eyes turned red due to anger.

"Bhabhi! Bhabhi, you look so gorgeous," Parul came to Ishani and complimented her. "Thankyou Parul!" Ishani smiled a bit and said in low voice. "Bhabhi, are you ok?" Parul looked at Ishani and asked her the question. Parul saw Ishani whose nose and eyes were red due to anger. Parul realised that Ishani was looking looking towards Ritika and Ranveer. Parul kept one of her hand on Ishani's shoulder and said, "Bhabhi, it's ok..I know that Bhaiya still loves you. Just give him some time" Ishani smiled looking at Parul. "Parul, you look really beautiful...Happy Birthday!" Ishani wished Parul and hugged her

Parul took Ishani to meet her friends and the guests. Ishani met everyone there and then she went to Pratik, Devarsh, Krisha, and Samira. After some time, Parul went to stage and announced, "Hello everybody! Thankyou so much for attending my party and making this day more special. This day is really special for me and to make it more special, please welcome my Bhaiya and Bhabhi to the dance floor." Ritika smiled and said to Ranveer, "Shall we?"

"Please put your hands together for Ranveer and Ishani" Parul added. Hearing this, Ritika got angry and insulted. She realised that Parul was talking about Ishani and Ranveer. Parul came to Ranveer and said, "Bhaiya, please!" Ranveer smiled. Parul went to Krisha and both gave high five to each other. Ranveer went to Ishani, who was standing by her cousins, Parul, and Krisha. Ranveer came to her, Ishani looked at him. He forwarded his hands and smiled. Ishani gave her hands in his hands, without giving him a smile. Ritika was watching the scene and got angry. She looked at her wristwatch, it was 7:57. Ritika gave an evil smile - Ishani, dance with your Ranveer. I know that Ranveer still loves you but after this day, Ranveer will always get angry when he will see you. Only 3 more minutes.

Ishani and Ranveer went to the dance floor and started to dance as the music started to play. The applause of the guests died down as they tried to ignore the stares they received.

They circled each other, their gaze remained locked. Ranveer placed his hand on Ishani's back, her hand on his shoulder, and their free hands finally met. Together, they danced to the music, their feet in perfect sync to the beating of their heart.

Tujhko har dua di, aur dagaa bhi

Aur fanaa hua

Ishani, I am really sorry! - Ranveer said in his mind. He looked at Ishani who was already looking at him. They were lost in each other's eyes. Ishani could see love in his eyes and Ranveer can also see love in his lady's eyes. That was when they decided to let ago. Let my worries, my pain, and sorrow go. We became one with the song, with the dance and with each other.

When the song ended the guests applause filled our ears. Ishani couldn't help but smile at that moment. Ishani left the dance floor, leaving Ranveer alone.

The guests again started to chit - chat. Ritika went to Ranveer and again holded his hands in her and went to her friends.

"Hello friends! Meet my husband to be...Ranveer Vaghela" Ritika said it aloud so that Ishani will listen it. Ishani heard that and looked at Ritika and Ranveer. She saw Ritika was giving her cunning smile and there Ranveer was looking at Ishani helplessly. A tear fell from her eye and Ranveer saw it.

"Hey!" said one of Ritika's friend. "Hello" Ranveer greeted her back. A guy in black jacket entered the party. Ritika's eyes went to the entrance and she smiled excitedly. Finally he is here - Ritika said to herself. She got a message from that guy - I saw Ishani, I will start my work right now. Ritika gave him a smile. "Ranveer let's go dance" Ritika pointed towards the dance floor where other couples were dancing on a soft music.

Ritika dragged Ranveer to the dance floor. They started dancing. Ishani saw them and she couldn't handle her anger. Due to this, she went to the bar. "Can I get a glass of whiskey?"

"Sure mam" replied the bartender. He gave her a glass of whiskey. Ranveer looked around to see Ishani. He finally saw her, sitting with a glass of whiskey. Ishani is drinking, I need to stop her from it.

Ishani looked at Ranveer who was already looking at her worried. She gave him angry stare. She took a sip of the drink. At first, she felt weird, but later she drank the whole glass. She looked at Ranveer who was still dancing with Ritika, but he was still staring at her.

"One more" Ishani asked the bartender for another drink. He saw a man who was standing alone in the corner. The bartender nodded and the guy was non other then Parth. Bartender made a drink for Ishani and mixed a pill in it.

"Here you go mam" bartender handed her the glass. She again looked at Ranveer and gave him a angry look.

Ranveer - I have to stop Ishani.

Ranveer saw Parth standing in the corner with some other guys. "Who is that?" Ranveer in thoughts.

After drinking the 2nd glass, she again asked for another one. This time, the bartender mixed 2 pills in her drink. She again drank the whole glass in a second. Later, she felt headache. "I...I...should not have drink that much" Ishani kept her hand on head.

Ritika saw Ishani and smiled. She turned Ranveer around so that he won't see Ishani. Ishani was not able to handle herself. She went to stairs and headed towards room.

In corridor

Ishani was hardly able to walk. She was not able to see anything. She was about to fall, but somebody holded her from behind. When she looked at him with her blurry eyes, she saw a man in black jacket. "Leave me...who...who..." Before Ishani could complete her sentence, she was not in her sense. She fell unconscious in Parth's arms. "Ritika, your plan is successful. Baby, lets have fun now." He looked down and saw people enjoying part. Making sure, there was no one looking at them, he carried Ishani in his arms and took her to her and Ranveer's room.

After entering the room, he laid Ishani on bed. "Ranveer, you have this beautiful wife and you haven't done anything. Ranveer, you are not a man. Don't worry this man is there for Ishani" Parth smiled and gave dirty smile to Ishani, who was still unconscious on bed. He went towards door and locked it.
