What makes 'Ishveer' work?

Hate tracks are common in hindi shows and I tend to avoid them because they are very typical but they tend to work big time with the general audience. Heroine doesn't love hero but she falls in love after marriage etc etc. But personally for me, Ishveer stand out, one because of their childhood friendship. They weren't strangers who got married, they were best friends before. That history they share makes their relationship very deep and complex. I think the WH similarity strikes a difference too because they both have suffered since childhood and have found solace in each other. Secondly I would have to say is the chemistry between the actors. It's very comfortable and intimate which is necessary for a passionate love story.

I agree, it's their childhood friendship and a mutual pain they both share makes them work. What I have loved the most there is the fact that neither of them is attracted towards the other's body but soul. They're friends, soulmates, lovers and each others' greatest strength- only if the creatives realize that. Also, this story has had a touch of sadness and the little moments of happiness work wonders here. I think that works for me.

The actors have good chemistry is one reason for sure. But they stood out for me because the male lead wasn't a typical angry young man who hates the heroine and think he might falls for her which he let his ego gets in the way but here Ranveer loves Ishani from the very beginning. His love and obsession for her was so beautiful be it having her pictures on his computer desktop or as his phone lock screen or protecting her from the candle fire not caring about his own pain because her safety is all that matters to him even when he become a rich business man his love for her never fades away, he live with her memories for 2 years still loving her...

Agree with you and everyone else , everyone mentioned the reasons I love Ishveer 😳 It is becaus eof there unselfish love, there care and frienship an all the other reason you guys mentioned 😊

The best part about their relationship is that they can go to any length to make sure that the other is far far away from any problem be it ranveer b4 1st leap he was willing to sacrifice his long love just for her hapiness his love who he loved since the day he saw her and also he didnot wanted anything from her and after ishani fell for him she also want to that level where she was ready to take death upon herself to protect her love...this is what true love is that u care about the ones u love forgetting about what ur getting there is no way these two can do anything for other rather then themselves these two belong 2 eachother soulmates jeevansathi whatever u may call it...
