Chapter 16: Dancing in the rain
Ranveer and Ishani were enjoying each others company even though both were silent. Both had never been so happy in there life, and both said a little prayer to God inside themselves that they both would stay together no matter what and that God would always protect their partner.
Suddenly they heard thunders, Ishani got a big smile on her face but Ranveer on the other had frowned. Ishani looked at her lifepartner and gave him a beautiful smile and said excited "Ranveer, did you hear that?"
"Yes, Ishani we should go inside before the rain comes."
Ishani looked at Ranveer like he was the biggest fool in the world. She thought to herself why did she fall in love with the least unromantic person. It may rain any second and instead of being exited he want's us to go inside. Something so boring, Ishani thought and sighed.
Ranveer saw disappointment in her face, he could not stop himself from feeling guilty. He knew how much Ishani loved the rain, but he also knew that Ishani would get ill.
"Ishani , I know you are exited about the rain. But I think it is best if we go inside. You know that you easily get's sick" Ranveer said, trying to make Ishani understand. Normally Ishani would be touched by Ranveer 's care, but on that moment she wanted to kill him.
"Ranveer, tumhe romance nahi ata kya? " Ishani said to Ranveer, Ranveer was about to answer Ishani but was interrupted by little drops of water. Both looked up towards the sky, Ishani looked fascinating at the rain and forgot all her anger. She just wanted to spend this moment, with Ranveer. Ranveer saw the twinkle in Ishani 's eyes , and suddenly he remembered one day when they were watching a romantic movie where the couple were dancing in the rain , he remembered that Ishani had said till him dreamily that she wished that one day that she and her prince would dance in the rain as well. Now he understood the disappointment that Ishani was feeling, he cursed himself for not understanding her feelings better.
Ishani closed her eyes and stretched her hands out while she twirled around. Ranveer was in dilemma, he did not understand what he should do. On one side he wanted to give her all she desired but at the other side he feared it might start raining heavier and that Ishani will get ill. Deciding, that her health was more important, he kindly told her to go inside with him. She just looked at him disappointedly and kept enjoying t he rain. Ranveer knew how stubborn Ishani was, he knew he has no chance of winning this argument.
It started to rain heavier and both were completely wet now and Ranveer went towards here and Ishani smiled shyly at him. Ranveer took off his jacket, and signaled with his eyes here to take it.
"No, Ranveer I don't need it "said Ishani childishly and Ranveer rolled his eyes .
"Ishani, take a look at yourself "Ranveer said and Ishani looked at herself and saw that you could see through her dress because of the rain. Suddenly embarrassed, she took his coat quickly as he watched the other side and said "Don't worry, I saw nothing" Ishani buttoned the buttons fast and avoided making eye contact with Ranveer.
Ranveer did not want Ishani to be embarrassed, and he knew what to do to get her mind on something else.
"Ishani?" asked Ranveer to get attention. But Ishani was still to embarrassed to look up and just replied with "hmm?"
"I have a gift for you?" said Ranveer and hoped he would get her attention.
"Gift?" said Ishani sounding like a child on Christmas day. Ranveer smiled at looking at her antics, and Ishani started blushing once again.
"Ishani , you don't need to wear makeup anymore. Since you are blushing all the time now "Ranveer teased Ishani, which just resulted in Ishani getting angry at him and turning her back at him. Ranveer thought he should do something before she get's more upset.
" Acha baba , I'm sorry . Please don't get upset on me , here is your gift " Said Ranveer and handled her gift. Ishani looked at the gift , then she again looked at Ranveer . Ranveer was giving her the puppy look , so she could not even pretend that she was angry anymore.
Ishani opened the gift and saw a beautiful chain with two hearts on it , on the hearts it was written soulmates . Ishani kept admiring the beautiful chain , and Ranveer was admiring IshanI's beauty. At last Ishani and thanked him. Ranveer took the chain from her hand and asked to turn her around, Ishani did as he told her to do do. Ranveer gently took her hair on the other side and hanged the chain around her neck.
" I'm glad that you liked it, Ishani . Can we go inside now , I can see that you are shivering because of the cold " said Ranveer worried.
" Nahi , Ranveer please I want to enjoy the rain " said Ishani stubbornly . Ranveer got annoyed at Ishani 's behavior and could not understand why she did not care about her health.
" Fine , I do all this things for you . But you don't listen at all. Have fun in the rain , I am leaving " Ranveer said and was about to go , when Ishani stopped him by getting hold on his arm . Slowly with her magical voice she started singing:

Ranveer stopped in his tracks and watched the most beautiful angel singing for him with so much love that he could not be mad at her anymore.

Ranveer moved closer to Ishani cupped her face and removed her hair that had fallen in front of her face. Ishani was shivering because of there closeness. But there was also a small fear in her heart that this was just a beautiful dream , that this was just her imagination.
Hum akele kho na jaayen
I don't want to get lost alone again
Ishani shared her biggest fear, she could not lose Ranveer . Losing Ranveer , will mean that she will get lost again like she did after her mother passed away.
Door tumse, ho na jaayen
I don't want to be away from you
Tears were running down from Ishani's eyes, and Ranveer gently wiped them away. Ishani closed her eyes and Ranveer kissed her eyes, Ishani shivered because of the contact.
Paas aao gale se laga lo
Come near and embrace me
Before Ishani was even finished singing the sentence, Ranveer had embraced her lovingly and both got lost in each others arms. Knowing how much this moment meant for Ishani , he wanted it to be like every thing she dreamed it will be. So Ranveer started swaying with Ishani in the rain and just like Ishani he also sang to his heart 's content
Humko humise chura lo

Dil main kahin tum chupa lo
Hide me somewhere in your heart
Ranveer looked at Ishani with so much intense and passion that Ishani started blushing
Hum akele khoo na jaayen
I don't want to get lost again
Ishani took Ranveer's hand and kissed them gently , to remind him that now he had her with him to fight any demons of his.
Door tumse ho na jaayen
With this line Ranveer told Ishani that his life started with her and will end with her.
Paas aao gale see laga lo
Ishani 's chain tangled with his shirt's button. Ranveer gently gave her chain without breaking the intense eye lock. Ishani freed herself from Ranveer 's grip and ran away from him shyly.
But it did not took long time for Ranveer to catch her once again , after all Ishani could not hide from Ranveer forever. Taking her hand and laying there where his heart is he continue the song
Ye dil dhadka do, zulfein bikhra do
Makes this heart beating , let your hair open
Ishani and Ranveer continued dancing with each other , both were so lost in each other that they forgot about everything around.
Sharma ke apna aanchal lehra do
Bashfully , let your Saree sway a little
Ranveer gave her playful look and Ishani looked at him surprised.
Hum aanchal to lehra dein, par barsaat na ho jaaye
I will let my Saree sway a little, but there may be rains
Ranveer smiled at her , he had newer in his wildest dreams thought he ever be dancing in the rain . What could poor Ranveer do , love makes you do thing you would newer imagine. He would not admit it to Ishani, but he was enjoying it.

Let there be rains, I want to discuss some things

Ranveer said it so honestly , that Ishani got memorized by how much Ranveer loved her
Chutki bhar sindoor se tum ab ye maang zara bhar do
With a pinchfull of vermilion, put it in the parting of my hair
Kal kya ho kisne dekha sab kuch aaj abhi kar do
Who has seen tomorrow, do everything today itself
She would without giving it a second though marry him right there and then if he asked her too. But she also knew how important it was to him get his badge before he married her. She knew that even if they were not married yet , they were still soulmates.
Ho na ho sab raazi, dil raazi rab raazi
Even if not everyone agrees, but when the heart agrees, then God agrees

Both smiled , they were happy that there parents agreed to there releatonship, because they really did not want to upset there parents , but they knew even if there parents had not agreed they would have found a way to convince them.

There moment was disturbed by Ishani sneezing, Ranveer looked at her worried and saw that Ishani was trembling , before Ishani could protest Ranveer carried her in in his arms and carried her to her room and gently laid her on the bed. Ishani tried to protest but Ranveer gave her a pleading look and kissed her on her forehead and gently wished her once again a happy birthday.
Ishani smiled at him and said "Thank you , love you Ranveer. Always and forever " before she closed her eyes and met Ranveer once again in her dreams.
Ranveer admired his angel while she was sleeping and said "Goodnight princess, love you to . Always and forever. "Slowly he went outside the room and took his mobile to call there parents to tell them about the good news , that was when ha saw a missed call from an unknown number. Ranveer thought who could it be .
AN : I 'm so sorry with the late update , hope this chapter makes it up for you guys. Really have no idea of how you guys will react with this chapter. This is my longest chapter yet , I just hope that it turned out okey :) Sorry for any typos and plese let me know what you guys think ?
