Chapter 14: My heart chose yours
Ishani could not believe what she was hearing , her Ranveer was in love but with whom. Was it here or someone else? Ishani why would he love you ? her brain told her .The same reason I love him ? Her hearth came to that conclusion, Ishani got confuse.
Ranveer observed Ishani 's reaction and had to control himself to not start laughing, he had newer seen Ishani so tense not even before her exams.
"Do you want to know who? Asked Ranveer while he smiled at her
Ishani nodded, not trusting herself to say something. Please God let it be me, I really don't want my heart to get broken on my birthday prayed Ishani.
Ranveer cups her face, Ishani could hear his heart beat and it was fast as hers. Ishani is going weak in her knees because of the way Ranveer looking at her , the only reason she is able to stand is because of Ranveer supporting here with one of his arm around her waist .
"There is no one that is that close to my heart , she gave me a reason to live again when I was at my darkest place in life she became the light that showed me the way in the darkest tunnel. I'm the black stone that always dreamt about the diamond , newer told her my feelings because of my past I did not want it to destroy her like it destroyed me. But recently her behavior makes me think that she might love me as well" Ranveer stopped for minute to see Ishani 's reaction and she got more worried for every word.
" Ishani , she is the most beautiful person ever , I love everything about her ; the way she takes care of me and our family , her kindness , her sense of humor, her perfect imperfections " Tears were running down Ishani 's face now , because with every word Ranveer uttered she understood how strong and deep his love was.
" I did not want to fall in love with her , but what can I do my heart chose her . And I 'm happy that my heart choose such an amazing, loving and beautiful person like her . I just hope that she feels the same for me as well, do you think she feels the same for me ?" asked Ranveer Ishani , Ishani nodded there was no doubt in her mind that this girl loved Ranveer as much as he loved her . How could she not, Ranveer had that power to sneak up without you noticing and making a huge place in the heart. Ishani smiled sadly, how she wished it was her.
"I don't know how or when she came into my life and changed me, the guy who was a living zombie wanted to fly , he wanted to achieve success but most of all he wanted to make her proud and happy."
"Do you want to know her name ?" Ishani closed her eyes and nodded. Ranveer kissed her hands and asked Ishani to open his eyes and the moment she opened her eyes: " Meri aashiqui sirf tumse hi , Ishani. I have always loved you and will forever love you , my life started with you and I want it to end with you "said Ranveer . Ishani was not able to digest what she had heard she was so shocked she just stood there and looked at Ranveer completely lost.
"Sunny , tum kuch bolna nahi chahti?" asked Ranver . slowly Ishani started to smile , but she still continued to cry.
"Why are you still crying?" asked Ranveer , hoping he would get some kind of response from her.
"I love you too Ranveer, meri asshiqui sirf tumse hi " said Ishani before she crashed herself into his chest and hugged him while she closed her eyes . Ranveer kissed her head and let the moment sink in between them. He thanked his stars for Ishani, but there was still something he wanted to make clear.
"Ishani? "
"Hmm?" asked Ishani melodious, her eyes still closed.
"You are sure na?" asked Ranveer and by hearing Ranveer's words the happiness that was evident on her face had been replaced by sadness.
"Ranveer, how could you even think like that. You know me since we were kids; I would newer lie about my feeling. Don't you trust me at all? "Asked Ishani
Ranveer cupped her face once again and wiped her tears. "I trust you, Ishani. But I don't trust myself, Ishani what if I am not able to give you all the happiness you desserve. "Asked Ranveer , sharing his biggest fear.
" Ranveer , my happiness is with you . If you are with me , I will always and forever be happy." Said Ishani before she continued saying : " Ranveer , now that I know that you love me I will not let you push me even if you try to " said Ishani before she again embrace him in a hug and slowly Ranveer relax in his embrace and decide he will trust Ishani , he will trust his heart.
After a while Ishani said : "Ranveer , my gift ?"
"Hmm , I gave you your gift " said Ranveer, looking at Ishani's confused face
"I gave you my heart , and I'm trusting you with it " said Ranveer who was being compleately honest and vulnerable.
