Chapter 13: Dhadke jiya
In front of him was an angel in a white anarkali dress, and he could not take his eyes away from her. The anarkali dress was very plain with just a little design (imagine the dress Ishani was wearing on Rhitka's sangeet ) but Ishani was looking drop dead gorgeous , she completed her look with simple earrings and Ishani had let her hair down just the way Ranveer liked it.
Ranveer kepst staring at her , but Ishani got annoyed .
"Before you could not wait to take me with you , now that I 'm ready you are just staring at me " said Ishani annoyed at Ranveer 's behaviour.
" Sab tumhari galti hai , you are the one who are looking so gourges that I cant take my eyes off you . Tell me what is need to look so beautiful ?" asked Ranveer cheekly . This time Ishani did not blush , instead she replyed with :
"Ranveer , when did you become such a flirt ?" asked Ishani who was taken back by Ranveer's recent behaviour.
" Tumhare khoobsorati ka jadoo hai " said Ranveer smiling at Ishani . Ishani rolled her eyes and said :
"Challey , Mr Vaghela ? Or du you plan to stand her all day staring at me ? asked Ishani teasingly .
" Mrs. Parekh for your information I could spend an attire lifetime by just looking at you." Said Ranveer so honestly that Ishani could feel her heart beating faster .Ranveer understood what he had said and cleared his trout. He took Ishani 's hand who was shaking , and Ranveer gave her assuring smile and said :
" Let 's celebrate you today " and Ranveer took here with him to the terrace where he had had arranged a small party for her. There stood Amba and her father at the table where there was a big chocolate cake. She looked around the terrace and saw that it was arranged musick, there were musicians there who played the violin and in addition she saw a large screen.
She looked at him confused asked "when did you have time to arrange all this?"
"When you were busy with your anger ?" Ranveer said and laughed before Ishani could respond Amba and Harshad came to congratulat her .
" Beta , did you like the surprise ?" asked Amba kindly .
"Aunty , I did not like it . I loved the surprise " said Ishani before she hugged Amba and Harshad.
" Beta , you should hug Ranveer . He is the one who planed he surprise " said Harshad.
Ishani turned her attention toward Ranveer , Ranveer was about to hug Ishani when Ishani puched him on his shoulder instead.
"Ouch, what was that for ? " asked Ranveer .
" That was for scaring me that you had forgot and to keep all this a secret " explained Ishani.
Before Ranveer could respons Ishani embraced him in a hug, " this is for making me feel so loved " said Ishani and closed her eyes in his embrace. Ranveer smiled as well , but slowly let go of her and sad :
"Look at the screen , Ishani "
without arguing turned her attention towards the screen and relived all her moments with Ranveer from their childhood to now. When that was done , Ranveer brought Ishani to the table were the cake was. Everyone sung the birthday song for her and gave her gifts , Amba gave her the ring her mother had given to her , since she had no daughter she wanted Ishani to have it and one day give it to her daughter. Ishani had tears in her eyes , knowing how much Amba loved her. Harshad and Ranveer smiled at the duo , then it was Harshad's turn to give Ishani her gift. Ishani opened the gift to see her mother 's wedding lehenga.
" Papa , yeh to ma ka hai . Then how can I have this ?" asked confuse and Harshad smiled at her knowingly and said " Apni shadi main you will wear this, so that you will feel your mother 's presence there. Actually that was Ranveer's idea and I thought thatwas brilliant '' expalid Harshad to his daughter.
" Meri shadi ?" asked Ishani confused .
"Arrey , sunny stop thinking and let 's dance " said Ranveer and asked for her hand .
"First I want my gift " said Ishani stubbornly.
"Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai ,Ishani " sad Ranveer and gave her a mysterious smile .
"RANVEER , PLEASE " said Ishani and gave him her best puppy look.
"Fine " said Ranveer and went towards the stage and started singing :
Dekho jara kitna hasin hain phir yeh sama , hain na
Look, who beautiful is this atmosphere once again,isn't it
Ishani smiled and looked around , and thanked her stars for giving her Ranveer
Jee le zara ek pal mila jo tanhaaye ka, hai na
One moment which we got from of the loneliness, live it , isn't it
Ishani thouggt about how alone she was after her mother died , but then Ranveer came and everything changed . She got her father back, found a mother in amba but most of all she found a friend and love in Ranveer.
Wohi hasana hasaana, kuch kehake yu sharmana
Those smiles and getting shy by saying something
Ranveer smiled at Ishani and thought all the time she smiled at him and whenever they were close she will always get shy. Ishani noticed Ranveer 's look and thought maybe he is singing it someone special. But who can she be ? Ishani could not stop herself from getting worried.
Kuchh baate yu hee aankhon se hee kar jaana
Some conversation are made by eyes .
, Ranvee looked at Ishani so he could assure her that there was no one else in his heart . Ishani got confuse, his eyes says tells me something but then why don't he tell me his dil ke baat.
Accha lagata hai , yeh chehera takate jaana
I like to stare at your face
Ranveer looked at Ishani, he just hoped his plan worked . He was opening up his heart , he just hoped she would not reject him.
Abb aa jo gaye ho toh na phir jaana ha aa aa

Ranveer and Ishani both remembered the promise he made her make and smiled

Ranveer thought about his past , letitng Ishani know his fear of his past coming between them.
Ishani knew she had to sing the next lines to assure Ranveer , so she continued the song :
(ISHANI ) Main ass pas kahee hun, itana yakin to hain na

Ishani 's eyes begged Ranveer to trust her . Ranveer nodded , because he believed in Ishani more than he believed in himself

(ISHANI ) Mujha tanhaayee me tera ek lamha de jaana
Giving one moment of your's in my loneliness
Ranveer was taken back by the emotions he heard in Ishani 's voice and his heart beat thousand times faster , thinking the reason of those emotions
(ishani ) Shaayad yeh lamha bhee phir khuda ne
May be this moment as well , God
Tere mere milne ka socha hain bahaana ha aa aa aa
Has made this reason to let us meet , Ishani looked at Ranveer and blushed

For my hearth beats, Ishani looks down embarrassed
(Ranveer ) palake yu jhukee to kuch huva tha
When your eyelid bend down like this , then something was happening , Ishani just started blushing more. Ranveer smiled when he noticed that

The moment was just stopped

Harshad and Amba applauded and were admiring how cute there children looked with each other. Ishani s and Ranveer both started blushing, realizing that they were not alone. Harshad signalized to Amba that they should leave and let the lovebirds be alone .
Ranveer and ishani just looked at each other , hoping that the other one would say something.
" Did you like the song ?" at last Ranveer asked
" Yes " said Ishani silently before she added : " was this song dedicated to someone?"
"Yes , someone special " said Ranveer truthfully.
"Does this mean you love someone ? " asked Ishani shocked
"Yes , main kishi seh beinteha mohabbat kartha hoon. Meri aashiqui sirf us se hi hai " said Ranveer and looekd at Ishani's reaction.
