Shakti Arora likes playing complex characters

Shakti Arora, who is currently playing the lead in Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, is quite satisfied with the way his character has shaped up in the show.

"I get to play various shades of this character. First, I portrayed the poor boy and then the story jumped a few years ahead and my character was shown as a business tycoon. Now, I have to depict an angry man, so I couldn't ask for more," he tells us.

However, not content to be limited to one type of show, the actor wants to make a foray in reality shows. "I have acted and also hosted a show. Now, I want to do a reality show, preferably a dance reality show. Even though I am not a good dancer, I learned a few steps during my stint on a show. Recently, we had this sequence where I had to dance on Bachna Ae Haseeno and I managed pretty well. Also, I have seen people, who aren't that great at dancing, become dancers after they participate in dance shows," he adds.

We also asked Shakti about his wedding plans, as the actor and his girlfriend, Neha Saxena, had done a roka ceremony last year. "Yes, we had done the ceremony last year," Shakti confirms, "But since then, I have been so busy shooting that we haven't had the time to think about marriage. Neha is focusing on her career too. So, wedding will happen, but there's still time for that announcement."
