at that time dere was a driver with them...
now i understand...non of the chaturvedi's know driving...if u observe they always had a driver along them...except liladhar...as he was away in hostel he learned driving...and in the strt of the serial also he told that his dadaji doesnt like cars...he prefers walking and the jeep is old one so its dere with them...
i didnt see any chaturvedi driving a car...seriously dadaji was totally old fashioned...even this made the viewers irritated...

Yeah the Chaturvedis are super old-fashioned! Murli is educated but he didn't learn english but because Sadhna persisted with LD, she got him to be the modern Indian boy. I agree though like there's a limit to how old fashioned people in this day and age can be. Even beggars in the sub-continent have phones and are more aware of the modern way of life.

Sadhna speaks good English. In episode 2 she had to speak to a caller who called Govind because the person was speaking in English.

That's extremely odd. I'm pretty sure people who aren't highly educated still drive. The character has been butchered greatly!

You don't need to be highly educated to drive, but you should be able to read the road signs...

No wonder the show is going off air. They showed unrealistic things which many viewers eventually couldn't stand it anymore.
