Suchitra Bandekar has been lucky enough when it comes to bagging projects. She got done with Star Plus' Pyaar Ka Dard Hain... Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaar... and sooner she baggedLife OK's Mere Rang Mein Ranganewali.
"In that case, I am really very lucky. Getting to work with Rajshri Productions in it is a huge achievement. People here are so humble. The kind of satisfaction that every actor wants after working with utmost dignity, Rajshri Productions surpasses all," says Suchitra talking about working with the renowned production house again.
Suchetra on her character in the show speaks, "Sooraj Barjatya ji of course keeps an eye on everything be it the production or the story. My role in the show cannot be called different from what I have portrayed but I have some responsibilities and authorities on my shoulders. I have not played such an important role in a Hindi soap rather I have played in Marathi soaps. I am very keen about it and I am sure I will give my best to it," on adding more, she utters, "My character in PKDH was a grey shade but even if we look back, it has left an important mark on viewers mind. On the contrary, in Mere Rang... I am someone who will always support the truth and very much straight forward if situations arise."
On the lyrical title, she states, "I was in 11th standard when Maine Pyaar Kiya had released. The title itself is so pleasing that one would want to fall in love."
Pyaar Ka Dard Hain... was a set show where she made her presence feels mid-way. It is always skeptical to enter a show half way and that with a fear whether the viewers will accept or not. Suchetra had played a three months cameo in the show.
