Written Update 28 April

Everyone claps their hands after the exchange of rings.
Vikram and Vrinda squat down on either side of Raashi, who has an angry look on her face. Vikram wishes her a happy birthday and asked her opinion on their surprise gift. Raashi clenches her fist and has a pained look on her face, yet no one seems to notice this. Vrinda tells her she knows Raashi must be very happy today because after such a long time she has returned home to her mother and father and her sister got engaged to her best friend. Raashi just stares at Vikram and now her anguished face becomes visible to everyone. Tears start falling. Sharada instructs Sanya and Krishna to take Raashi to her room. Banu enquires from Sharada as to what has happened to Raashi. Sharada tells everyone that Raashi must be tired so she has gone to her room to rest. Vikram is confused and worried about Raashi's reaction.

Krishna wheels Raashi into Vrinda's room. Raashi sees photographs of Vrinda and Vikram. Krishna tells Raashi about Vikram-Vrinda love story. Krishna settles Raashi on the bed and leaves. Raashi recalls the engagement ceremony scene and screams out Vikram's name.

Downstairs, girls are dancing. Kashinath leaves to welcome some guests and Banu seizes the opportunity to hide away and steal of drink of liquor. Jiji finds him and tells him to stop drinking as she is afraid under alcoholic influence he might ruin their plans. Banu is getting high. Jiji is worried.

Vrinda is watching the girls dance. Vikram comes to stand beside her. She moves away, he comes closer. She calls him characterless and asks him why he is standing so close to her, doesn't he feel any shame. Vikram rebuts with don't you feel any shame, why you are standing so far away. Vikrams tells her that now they share a relationship and he is no longer a roadside romeo.

Kashinath welcomes Mr and Mrs Agarwal. He calls out to Vikram. Vikram teases Vrinda that her father is introducing him to everyone and goes. Vrinda smiles and watches Kashinath introduce him to the guests.

As Vrinda is walking past, she notices the cake and decides to take it up to Raashi, to cut her birthday cake.

Raashi is on the bed again recalling Vikram's scenes with her in the hospital. She looks at the picture of Vikram, on Vrinda bedside table and her tears falls on it. She throws the picture down and it shatters. She tries to get off the bed and falls to the ground. She pushes down all the pictures of Vikram. Then she picks up the a piece of the shattered glass. Just then, Vrinda is about to enter the room.

Vikram puts his hand around Vrinda and scares her. They share a romantic moment. He is about to kiss her when they are interrupted by Krishna's call.

Inside the room, Raashi slits her wrist and faints.

Krishna meets Vrinda along the corridor and Vrinda immediately gives an excuse that she was taking cake for Raashi. Krishna asks her where is the cake. Vikram comes from behind and asks who left the cake ? Krishna teases them.

Downstairs, Shankar is dancing with the girls. Sanya is watching him and their eyes meet upon which Sanya looks away. Shakti invites Sanya to dance and pulls her hand but she pulls it back. Shakti then instigates Shankar to ask Sanya to dance with him. Jiji also comes forward and joins Shakti in cajoling Shankar to dance with Sanya. Jiji tells him that after Aditya left, Shankar has given her full support. Sanya and Shankar leave.

Banu does a drunkard act with Kashinath. Kashinath can smell the liquor on his breath. Kashinath tells him to get to his senses. Banu drinks more.

Vrinda walks into the room and sees Raashi unconscious with her wrist cut in a pool of blood. She screams out to everyone.
