Written Update 4 March

Scene starts in the Doctor's dining hall. Some doctors are eating their tiffin lunch together. One of them comments that Dr Aditya never has lunch with them. The other doctors make fun of him living in isolation.

Attendant comes to Aditya asking if he is having lunch at the dining hall, another doctor was calling him to join them. Adi tells him that he will eat in his private quaters. He gets up and places Sanya's picture on his table and leaves. Attendant picks up the picture and wonders who the lady is who has destroyed the life of such a nice man.

Aditya is in his quaters, the attendant puts out his food. He discovers that the cook made eggplant vegetable for him when the cook knows that Adi doesn't like eggplant. Attendant apologizes. Aditya tells him it doesn't matter, he will eat the eggplant. The attendant leaves and Aditya eats. He tells himself that life has taken away so much from him that preference doesn't matter. He is sad. He looks at his and Sanya's picture together asking what sin has been committed by him. He has forgotten what a home, a family, support of beloved but looking at the pictures makes him remember that there once was an Aditya. He cries.

Kashinath is waiting impatiently for Raashi's arrival. Shankar tries to placate him. Krishna tells him that Jodha Akhbar postpones the release date many times but nevertheless, the film was a hit. Similarly Raashi will come late but she will be a hit.
The car horn sounds.
Kashinath prays to Visvanath to give him strength to come before his jewel, Raashi.

Raashi comes in on a wheelchair. Kashinath kneels down in front of her. He touches her arms. He calls himself Bauji in a bid to make her recognise him, he urges her to call him Bauji. But she doesn't react. Sanya assures him that the time will come when Raashi will call him Bauji and recall all memories.

Kashinath says that after many years he is seeing his daughter at home, he was hoping and waiting for this day to come. He cries. Sharada tells him that because of this hope he didn't allow her to become weak and today the day has come albeit for a short while, she has returned home. Kashinath wipes away his tears.

A patient comes to see Dr Aditya. Its Banu Pratab. Aditya is shocked to see him. He questions him on his presence.

Raashi is sitting in the living room, they are all talking about the past memories, in a bid to make her recollect the past. Kashinath implores her to say something. She doesn't. Kashinath is sad and moves away. Taiji smirks.

Vrinda puts on a funny song and she starts dancing. Raashi stares at her. Vrinda comes behind Raashi and lifts her hands making her dance. Kashinath and Shankar clap their hands in tandem. Raashi recollects dancing with Vrinda and Kashinath in black and white.

Banu tells Aditya that his pain is great. He tells Aditya to treat him and he will treat Aditya in return. Aditya turns down his offer. Banu tells him that in his game of chess, Kashinath has made his daughter a pawn. Banu tells him that Kashinath has put his daughter behind Banu's son. Aditya refuses to believe because he says he knows his father's character very well.

Banu tells him that he was the one who freed Aditya on bail. Banu accuses Kashinath of snatching his son from him. Banu asks Aditya how long he will keep on running. He tells Aditya that this place is not fit for him, he deserves to be somewhere else. Banu tries to manipulate Aditya's mind. Aditya tells him that he has lost everything and is helpless. Banu instigates him to put in effort to save his life, to take action. Aditya agrees to think about it. Banu tells him that he is with Aditya all the way and he is not alone and urges him to return to Benaras. Before leaving Banu warns him that if he doesn't take action now then he never will.
