Vikram is at the Shiv Mandir. He prays to God , the only witness to his true love, to help him meet Vrinda just once.
Shankar is driving back from the temple with Sanya. Sanya tries to enquire from him where Vrinda has gone. Shankar says he doesn't need to know as he trusts his parents completely. Shankar tells Sanya that she doesn't know Banu Pratab, he is born bad and it would be better if she doesn't involve herself in this matter. Sanya says its a surprise that no one at home recognised Vikram as Banu's son. Shankar tells her that Vikram has lived many years of his life out of Benaras, hence no one has seen him. Sanya says that means he has stayed for many years away from his father, he was brought up somewhere else, so may be he is nothing like his father and unaware of his father's misdeeds. Shankar is adamant that because he is Banu's blood if not now then later he will be just like Banu.
At home, Kashinath is lying on his rocking chair. He has not eaten his dinner. Sanya insists he eats. He tells Sanya to stop worrying about him and concentrate on her profession. He wants her to take over the running of the hospital. He tells Sanya to leave him alone.
Sharada calls Kashinath and tells him to eat or else she won't eat either nor talk to him. After taking a mouthful, he recalls the scenes with Vikram and puts the spoon down in distaste and calls Sharada. Sharada tells him to finish eating then call her not before.
Sanya is watching this from outside the door. She recalls her romantic moments with Aditya. She feels that the small happiness of life has been taken away from her and cries.
At Banu's house, Vikram's PA comes with some files. He tells Banu to give them to Vikram. Banu is very upset. He says he is Vikram's father not his servant. He accuses them of making his home their office. The PA denies saying that Vikram asked for the files to be sent home as he is not feeling well. Banu tells the PA to sit outside he will go and enquire from Vikram. Banu says to himself , he praises his veer putra saying a girl showed some interest and his son got lost in her and leaving his work, collector saab has become devdas. Chhh. Banu is fed up with his son and goes to see in what thoughts majnu saab is lost in.
Banu goes to Vikram's room, Vikram is on a chair looking/reading something maybe a love letter or Vrinda's photo. Banu sees a picture of Vrinda on the coffee table and picks it up. He says what a pretty girl , at first he couldn't understand what's in this girl but now it has entered his head and now he understands that looking at her innocent face love starts showering in Vikram. He praises her beauty. He slams the photo back on the table. Banu asks his son what he doesn't understand is that after being humiliated by the girl what happened to his manliness? Vikram replies that only by putting others down is not called manliness, facing the situation and correcting it is also called manliness. Vikram says that whatever happened to him is not his or Vrinda's fault, they are just the target of enemity. Banu scolds him, tells him he is Banu Pratab's son you shouldn't become target you should create the target but instead Vikram has is bent on surrending all weapons in the fire of love. Banu continues telling Vikram to learn something from the girl, she chose her father when it came time to choose. But his son has drowned his father's tapasya in Ganga and flying around the girl. Banu warns his son that Vrinda can never be the daughter-in-law of the house. Banu leaves. Vikram wows that only his dulhaan will be the daughter in law, and other than Vrinda he cannot think about anyone else and whether his father wants it or not, he has to give his blessings.
At Pandey residence, there is a meeting going on about the work on the hospital. He makes Sanya in charge of the hospital. She takes his blessings. Taiji is watching from upstairs, she is not happy.
Banu's phone rings. Its Taiji. He tells her he is worried and has been robbed, destroyed. She tells him to think of a way to get his son in his control. Taiji has a plan and tells him about it (the audience can't hear). Banu is excited about it.
Banu goes outside to meet with the PA. The PA tells him that he has been stationed in Benaras for the last five years and is very happy there and doesn't want to move. Banu tells him he may have to move unless he helps him. He wants the PA to issue an order from the government office to stop the hospital work on Kashinath's site. The PA has agrees unwillingly.
