At the hospital, Kashinath tells Sharada that Vrinda has run away. She has insulted them by doing this. Sharada asks Kashinath to give Vrinda some time.
The nurse comes to them and tells them that Rashi has awaken and is calling for Vrinda. Rashi is hysterical on the bed calling for Vrinda. Parents go to see her but doctor tells them it is better if they not go in as she is only familiar with Vrinda. She may get violent upon seeing them. She asks them to sent vrinda quickly.
Kashinath calls Shankar and asks if Vrinda has reached. Kashinath tells him that Vrinda has run away mid-road. Krishna overhears. Shankar again threatens to harm Vikram should Vrinda have gone to him. Krishna is worried.
Vikram is driving. Banu calls him but he tells his father that he will talk to him upon his return home and hangs up. Banu is confused and angry that Vikram hang up on him. He wonders what has happened to his son's intelligence. Maya is happy, better late than never, god has given good mind to her son. Banu says to her, you talk again behind me. He tells her to go away as he is already perplexed and she is adding to it. Maya tells him that she is advising him to leave their only son alone and not to sacrifice him in enemity or else he will regret it. He is furious.
