When Riya came back to SS in a desi avataar, I thought the cvs must have planned something major to give her this saree and pallu look. But after a month or so I still haven't understood the reason behind it. The first day she came back, she did lot of nautanki a la Shanti style that even shocked Shanti but since then nothing much has changed. I can understand the family not accepting her, Shivam rejecting her, everyone blaming her and even Chanda but can't understand what was riya's original plan?
The only thing I understood was that she wanted to get Shivam back first and then gain everyone's trust back slowly. So what's her plan to do that? And how's Saree going to help in this or her leaving job, calling him malik will change the situation? What I see from her is just hoping that things will get better, there is no concrete plan to achieve it. It's like this... kuch din baad kutton se bhi pyar ho jaata hain toh yeh log mujhe bhi maaf kar denge (no offense to dogs)
Til now she has done absolutely nothing in that house except listening to insults and crying her heart out to Bunty. She has not made Nimmi or Priti's life any better as Shivam and Dadi wished (Not that she can do anything about it) But then all this could have been done even with her old dress style too right? No one is going to stop calling her modern bahuriya even after this style change, so why bother? CVs thought they were grabbing eyeballs with this makeover but it all went phusss...
