unless they redeem him or something, i can't help but disagree here...it is his actions that are responsible for the dislike not his looks first of all.
1. his crush turning into a lust
2. trying to stop preeti's marriage with vyom without consent or breaking their relationship without consent is wrong...
3. bringing bangles silently and then getting the blame on mohit was wrong when he knew shivam wouldve beat the crap out of him if it were him but instead he went with shivam and beat mohit with his weapon
4. throwing gober on vyom is wrong ...i mean what wrong has vyom done to him that he is throwing the gober for no reason
5. coming drunk at a house which is giving you shelter and you talk rudely in a drunken state is rude..sure he wasn't in his senses but why did he drink when he came from the village
6. taking advantage of the situation when he knew that now no1 will marry preeti and so he can have preeti all to him is wrong...preeti wasnt asked and her family cared about her tarnished reputation so nandu took advantage and happily married
7. using mohit and vyom as pawns to eliminate them and thinking of getting preeti to himself is wrong..he is there to find a job not a girl which was told by mr khare to raghav for which he received an accomodation

in summation, its not about the looks or what job u have whether ur bill gates or a mere chaprasi, it was his actions that created a dislike for nandu...preeti was bashed for her stupidity of meeting mohit, cvs butchered the potential story of mohit-preeti and made mohit a drunkard who then lured preeti to leave her wedding and ran away himself due to which preeti received the harsh punishment through her reputation being tarnished...nimmi got her punishment for lying and marrying vyom...riya was also punished for not informing shivam or anyone else about the kaand/demand created by preeti...
