Almost everyone on this forum hates Nandu and finds him a creep.

I fully agree with you. Nandu's character is not smart looking but he is good at heart person. Loving some is not a crime.

I am a minority here and don't think so.

1. Let's face it, He is very average looking and has no body to die for. That's the foremost reason to hate him

but then how many people around us are good looking ? Don't go by TV serials just look around you and you will find mostly average lookers around you. There are very few beautiful,perfect featured or greek god men. If we consider one good looking, the other person may not find so. And if we start hating someone based on his looks, then what kind of people are we?

And I am sorry to say but is Mohit really good looking? again it is relative !

2. He is poor and a chaparasi.

So peons have no right to love anyone ? and who is Priti, A king's daughter? Is some rich man gonna come and marry her? What has she got apart from some looks? No education, career or even a nice nature. There are thousands of women like her. Why should any rich man marry her ? why does she deserve better?

3. He is staying in their house

So? Isn't he looking for a house now that he is married? Give him some time. and he helps so much in their house.

4. He is a creep because he did his best to stop Priti from getting married to Vyom like sending a video to him or praying to God or throwing gober on Vyom or kept bangles in her room.

And why can't he do that? Everyone in this serial is up to something. I am not saying that was OK but the kind of people he was dealing with are equally capable of hiding things, cheating, lying for their own selfish reasons. How many times Nimmi or Pari have lied to their family? their whole life now has been based on lies. Nimmi even threatened Pari to send her video to Sujeev, wasn't that creepy?

But then because they are good looking girls, unke actions maaf? sab karen to rasleela main karu to character dheela?

Is hammam mein sab nange hain !

Mohit putting posters of Priti on roads trying to shame her was much more creepier than all of Nandu's actions. What kind of love was that you don't care for your ex-lover's reputation? At least Nandu never harms Priti. He only prayed to God but he didn't stop her marriage and ruin her by kidnapping her !

Don't get me wrong. I am absolutely not a Nandu shipper but I don't understand so much hate for him. Getting Priti married to him in hurry was so wrong but that was Shanti's decision. Raghav could have stopped it instead of blaming 'humari beti ki kismat'. And now that Nandu is married to Priti, it's obvious that he will try his best to win Priti. Just like Riya will try to save her marriage !

I never hated Nandu because of his looks or status. You are right there are many who critisize him over those reasons.

But I will never agree that Nandu is not a creep. He definitely gives negative vibes. We cannot ignore his involvement in Priti and Mohit's breakup. His reason behind trying to break Priti's marriage with Vyom is fine maybe, but putting blame on Mohit was wrong. He shouldn't have manipulated Priti's life when he knew his love was only one sided.

When Nandu was introduced, Mohit and Priti were already together, so it's obvious people were going to hate him for unnecessarily coming in between them.

Comparing Mohit and Nandu's actions is wrong because after Mohit kidnapped Priti many of us had stopped rooting for Mohit and had started critisizing him equally. And I don't think Mohit did anything wrong before the kidnapping incident.

Priti Nimmi have also got their share of bashing. Its not like they have been spared because they're pretty girls.

So true. Bang on Nandu has more in him than visible.

Yes. Nandu had no guts to express his feelings. Rather he could not because he know Mohit /Priti love story. Yet he kept wanting Priti's marriage to break . The Srivastavs Shanti including gave him place to stay in the house where two young girls live. Given their regressive atttitude towards everything shouldn't they have let him stay there in the first place. Then he would not have had the opportunity to lust after Priti.

It is cheap if they show Nandu Priti "love story" it will give wrong message to viewers that one can trick and ruin other's marriages and get married to a girl by hook or crook. and then he can have her for lifetime.

Because the attitude is once marriage happens no one can do anything. Well they can do to their bahus but betis remain married.

Rather according to this story and every story in tv soaps. "Divorce" is something a man "gives" a woman. Because he does not like her. and not the other way round. or even mutual. Also divorce is something that both partners "sign" on paper "prepared" by "ache se acha" vakil (in sarla's own words) and when both parties sign then they are "divorced" I see this in every tv soap. They keep showing the same thing over and over again. Looks like court has nothing to do with it. Or that both parties do not even have to go to court. (sorry I have to go off in a tangent here) What I mean to say is divorces can happen in Shanti sadan but Priti has to become badnaam. and Priti has to be packed off with anyone that comes by. Priti cannot ever divorce Nandu the creep because she is a woman. and she has no choice.

Another "theory" theme in tv soaps is compel and get anyone married. and let them stay together in the same kamrah and show a few scenes of fight and "love" and then they are "love married couple" When Priti cried at the marriage time she did not want to marry Nandu how can "love" happen? Chalo mann liya Priti has ghatiya soch. She thinks Nandu is a chaprasi he looks horrible looks stupi etc. Not just Priti everybody thinks so too even in this serial. Nobody thought he was good enough for Priti Now because Priti is 75 percent off Nandu "bought" her sorry got her. And Priti if she thinks so too and "rejects" him there is nothing wrong in that. It is her wish and her wish should be respected. Nandu changes haristyle would she accept him ? She may not then also it is her wish. Has to be respected and her wish has to be accepted no matter what the reason is . because it is marriage and she has a right to choose. her wish has to be respected.

Why should love happen when marriage happened under such circumstances? won't priti if she is smart (she is stupid I am just saying) understand that Nandu married her knowing she was at a weak postion at that time and knowing even then she did not want to marry him. yet he tells her that she may hate him. but he loves her. Now would you call that "love"? and later they are going to "fall" in love? would anyone fall in "love" with a person they hate because he looks bad, acts bad and is not having a good job.. who does not have to guts to express his love when everything was going well. who offered to marry when the other person was down and out and had no say in the matter because she is a woman? priti has no brains. All she thinks of is the chaprasi, peon, looks hairstyle etc. there is more to Nandu than that.

The thing is there is a difference between love,lust and obsession
everyone have needs like hunger but ppl even have so called morals values and ethics
if they are nothing such what is difference between us and animals
why is women considered as some toy not as human being with some emotions just like men
why this so called cheap characterless men cant understand women even have feelings and love just like them
nandu want to have preeti just like some pet like cat,dog or bird in a cage
there is nothing diff btwn that and preeti acc to nandu
he thought by marriage he can tie preeti in a house with him with or without his consent
if he really did love her why he never thought of her emotional state,her feelings,her love,her pain
he was only intrested in getting her and tieing her to him for life long
what is preeti some cow that he can tie her to his house and with him

Preeti is goodlooking and it is not common as you make it out to be. I just cant take my eyes off her whenever she is on screen. Being a woman myself.

Nandu is not goodlooking from any angle.

And he is forcing himself on her from day one.

Preeti is not a King's daughter but she is not lusting for a rich man like Vyom. She was happy with the ordinary middleclass man she fell in love with who is no SRK or ambani.

Preeti is not aware of her own beauty. Otherwise she would have misused it like Pari.
She is a simple girl and not wanting to marry a chaprasi or a sweeper or a coolie is her right. She wants some minimum standards, not someone outstanding.
