Day by day, they are making her more pathetic. Yes, she did no wrong. Cause picking up someone else's phone, listening to conversations not meant for you, n creating doubt in people's mind cause of that is a very right thing to do. Yes, shivam messed up big time, but atleast show some guilt for the slap. Instead you busy telling nimmi that its her galti. Like really ? What planet are you from. Yes, shivam messed up, but u are supposedly in love with him, didn't u feel any remorse when he got beaten up, any remorse for the 'TAMASHA' that happened cause of ur misunderstanding.

You clearly don't love shivam, you just want him as a toyboy. Else he can go to hell, right ?

Kushiya was begging her mother in law to not pour ice cold water on herself, ofcourse i don't you to beg, but the least you could've done is say a simple sorry to dadi to save ur mom in law, knowing that she is having fever. But you didnt even twitch a single muscle on your face and ofcourse why would you, cause its clear you don't care even for your husband, caring for mom in law is a far off thing.

Very well done, very proud of you, just hope the young girls watching this show doesnt emulate you as you sre full of ego, mistakes lust as love ( that's what you did with shivam ) and u don't care what happens to others, but u won't say sorry, even if ur sorry will diffuse the situation.

There is a lot more to say. But m sure this forum isnt ready to hear the truth.

Even now m gonna be bashed a lot, but i had to say what i wanted to say.

Riyaa did wrong, but Shivam did even bigger wrong. Riyaa has learn it accidentally and it was her duty to tell it to Shivam. Shivam should keep trust on his sister.

But what about Ms Shaanti, garbage !?
These type of characterization is degrading our respectable old generation, who are very loving people and always seating to pray for us.

Shaanti does not resemble our older generation.. Does India have only critical old women??
This is what I have learned from Indian television. Currently, Star Plus has 99% shows have grand mothers or MILs, who are torturing or emotionally abusing others. Is it the story of every house hold of India?? Because I am getting and learning this information from Indian television.
I think Riyaa need to be more tough with this family. Because it is not a family but an abuse camp !!

Riya should not say sorry for wrong reason, or for small reason, I mean to stop ice bucket torture. because this ice bucket torture was not reverent to the real issue.
All three children of Khaushallya was watching their mother was pouring cold water on head, but nobody stopped, her !!

A family is full of inhuman people, even would Riyaa did something wrong, should not ever say sorry to this type of family.

It was clearly a political act by Ms Shaanti to isolate Riyaa.
It is 21st century and era of cybernetics. Shaanti type of creatures should be in a zoo now !!

The way star plus is portraying out older people, is a crime!! Our Dadi Nani are very nice !!

Does any one of you have a grand mother like Ms Shanti ?? If not then this lady should be shown in crime patrol, not in a family show.

Small children and young generation will start perceive our old generation in wrong way.
What an abuser !! Shanti the witch !. Riyaa is quite gentle person. If I would be in her place, I would pull Shanti's hair and would drag her down from the wall she was seating on, (when Kaushallya was pouring water on head) and then I would immediately call the police for emotional torture and abusing daughter in law.

So now you know, Riyaa's fault is much smaller than what other family members are doing in this show !
Riyaa did small mistake, and other people did crime !! They are criminals in international platform !!

A criminal like Shaanti if exist in India, should be tide down immediately and please please call the police ! If she would be in London, I would call 999 ! But before calling the police, I would tide her up properly and seal her mouth, so she would not be able to utter a word !
World is getting wrong message, dear India.
Wake up Star Plus, with your TV serials, or shut down your shop !

you know what riya should have done. she should have asked shivam to take the punishment and put the ice water on himself. afterall i was he who hit riya n did laxmi's apmaan

though riya should have known better to share things with her stupid husband ,and she is yet new to the family she wouldnt know how stupid n sacrificing her mil was to take the cold water on herself.

my qn is wht was shivam doing instead of asking riya to say sorry he should have himself said that i will put cold water on myself as i have hit a woman n i will do pryaschit. why does he expect riya to take the blame on herself n say sorry

Riya and Bunty are friends, they share almost everything so they might take each other msg also & sharing something with ur husband is not a mistake.

It was Shivam's mistake he should take blame and the ice bucket punishment

Riya loves Shivam but love dosent mean to take all garbage by ur lover or husband

I agree with only the first sentence of this post-
Day by day, they are making her more patheticYes, they are. First mistake of Riya-marrying a man she doesn't really knowmuch about. But the mistake she is making now is colossal. Shivam time & again tells her that he regrets marrying her. She is still hanging around and 'troubling' his 'beautiful'family. The greatest favour she can do herself (&him) is to pack up & leave.

Daadi will find another Khushiya for shivam. All his life, Shivam will earn for Amit's family

Also Shivam will have 3 children & they will all call Khushiya - 'Shashikala'!

Happy Ending for the dashing, intelligent Shivam!

I can only say shame on Shanti, she did not care Kaushalya already sick. Did she think for a moment Sarla would do that for her what Kaushalya did for her. She is shamelessly manipulative. Similarly so stupid of Shivam trying to put blame on Riya when it was his and only his fault.

Riya was wrong to answer Bunty's phone and tell Shivan about Nimmi Riya is very good at shouting at her boss even when she is wrong.

Riya has lots of faults also.

She should be tough and not work like a slave for evil Shanti. She should tell Shivan to share the domestic work with her before going to the office. They both work the same hours at the office.

She should not give Shanti her salary and report about her stolen bike to the police.

She shares her problems with that stupid Bunty and she does exactly as Bunty tells her.

Shivan had told her that his family members are strange but he did not tell her about evil dadi who take everyone salary, beats people and treat Kaushalya as her puppet.

Riya should leave that house of torture.

She should not apologise when she is right.

If she does that then it will be the beginning of her downfall.

Rigid Riya needs a wake up call! And very soon too. She has her head in the clouds. Does she really think marriage in an large and extended family is a cake walk? Has she heard the tale of the palm tree that sways in the wind, if the palm tree didn't bend with the wind it would snap in two. So are relationships.

Riya is a few marbles shy of a dozen or she is way too naive which is hard to believe. She's been living in the Srivastav household for a few weeks now. She has seen Shanti Devi treat Cowsalya like a slave, driving her from pillar to post time and again just to indulge her every whim and her unworthy daughter and partner in crime Sarla even if she had to threaten and bully her into doing it.

Granted Riya was raised by her dad and she didn't have a female role model growing up. But for a working woman of today who has more opportunities to see how women handle life around her it's hard to believe she is that guillible and clueless of Shanti Devi's intentions.

Riya was washing dishes the day Shanti Devi talked Cowsalya into giving the blender to her ladli Sarla who greedily hauled it away with her nalayak son Amit even though it was a blender Shivam had bought his mother with his first paycheck. Shanti Devi is selectively sentimental about things...when it involves Raghav and Sarla she goes all out to protect their sentiments. But never Cowsalya's feelings.

Riya saw Cowsalya's reaction the day she handed over the blender to Shanti Devi. Are viewers to believe that Riya is so clueless about the use of modern day appliances around the home like blenders and washer/dryer that Bunti had to give her a lesson in Home Science 101?

Hilarious moment... that Riya who reminded Shivam that he was stuck in old times when the world around him had changed had resigned herself to grinding dhal on a stone like people did early 20th century and washing clothes by hand. She's really living in la la land😆...knowing fully well that Shanti Devi was piling work on her just to delay her day at work? Bunty, the world wise friend had to tell her to buy appliances and tips on how to stay married? Is Riya really that dense?🤔

Riya was treated like a princess by her Dad who didn't want her to feel the absence of a mother. She was ready to marry Shivam even after he warned her his family was an odd one...too bad he didn't spell it all out.

She went all out to impress Shanti Devi knowing the old hag was enjoying playing evil witch especially with her son out of town.

Seems like all Star Plus shows must have a mandatory wicked witch who is the senior most member of the family to create havoc in the life of the lead pair with a load of cheap tricks though they struct around talking culture and family values. Is this the Nayi Soch?😕

The only thing Riya should be blamed for not doing is calling the cops and getting the clown Shanti arrested for demanding dowry and bahu abuse. The idiot Cowsalya can follow her MIL as a jail mate. Riya can then leave the Shrivastav circus and remarry a real man without mommy issues. She simply does not deserve those clowns whose brain compartment has nothing but air in it.
