After watching today's epi , I felt Shashikala aka Shanti did the same thing to Laleshwari Sahay aka dadi bua , what Sarla is trying to do to Riya?

What do you all think?

yes...even i think she replaced someone who was gonna marry basesar...either Lali herself or someone close to lali...

Yes, very likely Shanti did the same or something similar to Laali.

That is why the other day Laali remarks why Shanti's husband passed away early and got out of Shanti's life. As if to intend that Shanti did not deserve the husband she got. As in - if some one snatches something from other person, it is not going to stay with them for long.
