Wha Koushilya...!!!

After watching yesterdays' episode I have come to the conclusion Koushilya is not only a door mat but she missing a few brain cells. Also I don't know what planet she comes from but she is not human.!!
1. You been married for 25 years, you deal with Sarla and shanti everyday,,,and you had no inclination that they would find a way to insult your family. And you beg for her.??

2. You Invited your family on you MIL's insistance, you get evidence it was Sarla's plotting, even her husband agrees...At this point any normal person would have had enough of the advantage and act out!!!

You accepted them taking your son's hard earned saree, you accepted them taking your mothers chain, and possible the rest of the jewllery she took to "Polish" Your family is seeing how they are treating you, and was punished and conned out of more money for commenting on it. AND YOU LET IT HAPPEN!!!

Come on CV's this miss goody two shoes act is getting irritating.

And this Ragwa ko bolawo threat Shanti is always calling I would call her on it and see what happens If she really opens her mouth not to apologize, but to stand up for herself!

This is a BANG ON POST ON KAUSHALYA.

Its good to be good! But its not to good to be so 'good' that people use & abuse you at every given point!

That chandan haar track showed that: Raghav loves his biwi a lot!
so does he loves his mom!
Mom is stronger, biwi is submissive.. thus Kusiya is always at the receiving end!
And yes, she suffers more because she never speaks up! whenever she tries Raghav doesn't listen as his mom starts high octane drama!

Kusiya will learn to talk, take stand. once heroine enters the house! But that will show us more conflict between her & Raghav & all the growing pains.

I have seen many females like kaushu in real life who doesnt stand up for themself or their kids bcoz they knw their hubby wouldnt support!fear of losing ur husband n happy life blah!
Im like Nimmi i jus wouldnt stand n watch d drama bt my mom is more like Koushu nt to d extent bt still she would let me complain abt dadi to dad lol

Therein lies my point...every one needs to vent. OK so she can't tell any one how she feels in the house , but at lest she would vent to her sister-in law. or like your mom...let Nimmi open her mouth. She stops everyone who tries to talk about them, even her friends in the mandali, and she got blamed for that when she was DEFENDING the Buddhiya.
Even my mom is not the confrontational type, and quite but I have seen her loose her cool now and again. Every one has a breaking point I really thought the chain was hers...but no She had to get even more insults.
Would Ragav go against his mother? He won't. But from what I am seeing it is because she dose not say anything, the one time she did was whan the lady called Shivam a thief, and he did apologize to him in his own way.
In the initial stages of the marriage she had the power to put Ammaji in her place I think, but for the sake of peace and love of her hubby she stayed quite until eventually she became the mat the old woman wipes her feet on.

One can see kaushalya is going to erupt but then she gives this forced smile and continues with life. Poor her , she is so insecure in her position that she craves for a smile or a pat from anybody

It is so sad to see a MIL blackmailing her DIL. Shanti just has to say Raghava name and DIL shivers.

for nimmi and Preeti, she stops them bec. she knows if Sarla or Shanti hear them, they will use the situation to their advantage, create a scene and her husband will not believe her or her children...so she avoids such conflicts..but shying away in front of "gard" babu n woh humse pyar karte hai crap, makes me cringe..i think she knows everything , yet keep quiet for her family's sake...there r many DIL's like Kaushalya who get bullied bec. their husbands never support them..they don't have brains also, sorry to say..their life is kitchen ghar khana and bache..i liked kaushalya initially when i started watching the serial , bec. the first scene i saw, she was sending Shivam somewhere knowing tht her husband and MIL will oppose...after the necklace epi, i somewhat lost the admiration for her..she was normal with just one "chamak rahi ho" and gajra frm her husband...thats very wrong..
