Zee is putting together some new shows so naturally a few old ones will have to soon shut shop. The latest we heard in the line of firing is Mera Naam Karegi Roshan which goes off air on December 9.

A source says, "The show hasn't been doing well for quite some time now. There were talks earlier too about the show winding up but then new changes were brought in like the original lead Sana Sheikh was replaced by Amrapali Dubey. Several tracks were introduced way before their original time in the hope that the TRPs would rise. However nothing happened and now the channel is keen on bringing in new shows and has decided to pull the show off air."

We tried calling and texting JD Majethia, producer Hats Off Productions but he did not revert. We texted Sukesh Motwani, Head of programming, fiction, Zee too but he did not revert.
