Touch me not!


Intimate scenes are increasingly being incorporated in television serials to increase TRPs. It's not surprising then that telly actors would find them a tad difficult to shoot. Specially if you're engaged to be married in real life! Well, Sana Shaikh who plays the main lead in Mera Naam Karegi Roshan had to undergo the same fate. She had to shoot for an intimate scene with reel-life costar Sufi Malhotra, but the actress refused to do it! "Yes I had reservations about the scene, I still have and will continue to have them," she said candidly when we contacted her. Sana, who got engaged to singer Sharib Sabri just a few days ago, was clear that she didn't want to enact any scene that would make her feel uncomfortable. "I spoke to the creative guys and really had to convince them. But at the end, they wrote it in such a way that it turned out really nice," she says. And no, it's not Sharib who's told her not to do such scenes. "He doesn't even watch my serial," says Sana, "But I'm just careful from my side. I wouldn't want to do anything that might hurt him."

I was going to say what the article said which was good by the way...many of the serials have gotten risky with the intimate scenes...did you notice it in the dances...the way the men and women are holding each other are quite sexy...well the tv people know that sex sells so of course they are going to start putting in these luring scenes. I don't think they are that bad compared to other shows from other countries. If you ever watch a European movie they are very explicit and the Americans are the same but not as much as the Europeans. I am glad it is not that bad in Indian serials.
I think the directors make the scenes more like teasers than anything else..

Why is there not even one kiss? It is not going to wreck the show....I would like to hear your opinion....

i dnt belive shes engaged to sharib he was my fav. singer in srgm...

perhaps one of the reasons this show is not doing well is because this actor does not want to do what the creatives are doing. why did they hire her?

a change is so needed here.they must take someone else who can act and talk and do full justice to the role.

well by the time they get to this the show will be off the air. so forget it.
