Thanks Sam for another wonderful post.

Can't thank God enough for the best creation in the entire Universe.

To my Mom - Mom, though we are far away from each other, not a day passes when I don't think about you. I love you a lot and miss you. Nothing in the world is ever going to make up for this loss. Ever.

And thanks for being my Mom. 😊

Missing Mother

My mother passed away several years ago and that's an irreparable loss. But I am glad for Mother's Day because on this day all Mothers are saluted while those of us who dont have one anymore can reminicise our greatest moments with the most influential person to have graced our lives. But then emotions do rush out in form of a lament and the following poem is one such which I wrote years ago ...

The Loss of a Mother

I feel so desolate and so morose

No different from a wilted rose

My spirits sagged, my head bent,

How many in hours in tears I've spent?

Little lambs prancing behind the sheep

Kittens from behind their mothers peep

Chicks scamper behind the hen

Why cant I too be like them?

When I'm tired and have been put to the test

Where is your lap for my head to rest?

Why can't your fingers run softly through my hair?

Isn't Life sometimes so unfair?

...

The purpose of posting this poem is not to sadden anyone but to remind us how lucky we are to have our mothers around us. Do make it a special day for her.

the world has name this day as mother's day...😊 so my dear brother wish my mother giving her a beautiful bouquet... but me as usual nothing... but maa you know i love you very much... and i saw your face when i am wish you it was a mix emotion on your face maa... i know my brother and me only can give you such a emotion on your face... maa i just want you to be happy always... i can't say thank you forthe thinks which you have done to me... but i will thank almighty to giving you for me... alhamdulillah...!!

i have learn this in my grad 7 book..

Mother the biggest gift of Allah to us
Mother the candle burn herself to light our life
Mother the other name of kindness
Mother who hold us nine month and suffer
Mother who feed us from her blood and milk
Mother stays sleepless all the nights holding us
Mother teach us how to walk and talk
Mother guides us and secures us
Mother loves us from start to end
Mother is mother no one can take her place
