Today is dussera/ Vijya Dashmi. Today believed to be a day when Ram defeated Ravan. A day of celebration. When Good won over evil by destroying evil.

On this day Delhi and other parts of India big celebrations take place where Effigies of Ravan Meghnath and kumbhkaran are burned as a symbol of destruction of evil and victory of truth and goodness.

In Gujarat ppl eat fafda jaebi on this day to celebrate the victory and attend special poojas in the temple.

Happy Dushera Everyone!

I was disappointed with so little being in the first post, but oh well, I can't do anything about it. I did a whole Navratri Thread just for those people in the Sahara One Forums here: https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/ganesh-leela/1254655/navratri-special-in-the-gl-mkc-forums

But there was already a global announcement on it so didn't ask for it to be one 😊
