Affectiion Displays

Okay here's a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I went to my wifes restaurant early Tuesday night to have some delicious tabular salad. As I sat behind the counter eating a young couple (20s) came & ordered some food to go. They started off kissing each other standing near the register. Before too long he had his hands around her backside rubbing it. Now that was bad enough. Then they sat down near the register. She sat on his lap & let me say there was a lot of petting going on. Now this was in plain view of maybe 3 tables of customers. None said a word. I was getting ready to make a comment about their showing of their "love" for each other. Just as I turned to walk from behind the counter their order was done. Whew! No telling how I would have worded my feelings. So now how do you all feel about public displays of affection? I don't mind the kissing. Keep it to a minimum though. I don't mind the arms draped across butts etc. Keep them still though. The petting in public has GOT TO GO though. So what's your opinions? Have you seen outrageous displays that offended you personally? Let's hear from you.

This isn't so common yet in India exceot in a few places like pubs, hi-fi eateries, concerts and on V-day...that's about it.

But Call me ancient or whatever, I am not a public display of affection fan. I'd rather have people kiss peacefully in privacy...but if they find public display of love the most exciting, they should keep tab on the location where they are kissing, places where kids and senior citizens or families often visit would be a big NO-NO!

the odd kiss is fine in public but seriously using the tongue or feeling someone in full view of the public is going a little to far

I don't think people should display their 'affection' for one another in that way in public. Yes, the odd kiss here and there is not so bad but when people continue to do that it makes me feel awkward and i would look the other way or move from that spot. It's a public place and i shouldn't have to feel awkward because they can't control their feelings for a moment

exactly the people around dont no where to look so why do it

Well, Showing our love in public places within decent levels is acceptable.
Whereas one should maintain the social norms whenever come to a public place.
Ofcourse A flower without fragrance is useless.
A life without love is meaningless...
Love doesnot know how to behave at times.
Yet the awareness should be taken care.

Kisses should not last over 15secs. And none of that fishy stuff. I know that u all know wat I mean. 😉 No tongue, grabing or etc... etc... Srry even listing them grosses me out. u nvr know who could be reading this. 😕 Kisses should not trun into a making out. I mean, wat should everyone esle do around u?? stare? scream? cry? panic and run away? or say stuff lik "ew. get a room."??

I guess some pple do get carried away sometimes. wat I can't understand is y some of them "want" others to watch them making out. 😕
