Islam wasn't saved anyone's sacrifice. Islam is a universal religion. it is here because Allah made it the only religion which is accepted by him.

There are many muslim ppl who were fighting to spread Islam in the time in which Husain (RA) was killed. There were many ppl who were sahabah, and tabi'in. Islam doesn't depend on one person. It will always live in the hearts of muslims, no matter what.

agree that it will always live in our heart but dear no one was real sincere to imamhussain at the time of his sacrifice.do u really think if imam hussain had not done the sacrifice and yazid was made the governer islam would have been saved.at that time no one stood against yazid.he was a cruel person and the country cannot be run by cruelty.yazid was a drunken person who could change islamic principles but imam hussain and his family alone stood against him.every body except him did the bait of yazid so imam hussain ka islam per bada ahsaan hai. no offence dear.

Yes, agree. When Imam Husain was asking for help noone stoof with Him except His family. Has anyone thought how it feels when the whole of your family members are sacrificed in a day? The mere thought kills us but Imam Husain has gone through these hard times and for whom? It was only for us, not Him or His family. So, yes I would repeat that we are here because of Imam Husain's sacrifice.

I agree that imam Hussain (RA) is a better muslim than Yazid. I know he did the right thing by standing against Yazid. Yes . his sacrifice was very big. but after his death what kept Islam a live is that there were many true muslims who were against Yazid by their hearts but chose not to face him, because of hadeath "Isma'uu wa ati'uu" "listen and obay to your ruler". this was a kind of revolution which kept rekindling in every muslim, sunnah or shiyah, till the end of Yazid's rule.

The fact that Umayyad period lasted for more than 90 yrs, with many rulers, and lots of wars to spread Islam is a proof enough that some few bad rulers couldn't destroy Islam, and it is alive because of Allah.
