Recovering from a heart break

What is the best way to recover from a heart break? Also do rebound relationships really last? I was reading a novel which had the girl being cheated on, she meets a guy next day, falls in love with him, then decides it was a rebound relationship and breaks it up and in the end realizes that it was actually the rebound love which was her true love😆

If a guy would have done that then so many names would have been used for him
