One of my friend have an OCD problem and trust me it is making her life nothing less than hell... like washing hand 30-40 times... doesn't like the things touched by other... washing hair after travelling in the local bus...doesn't like to touch anyone... she didnt even let others including her family member enter her room...she even tried doctor's medicine but it didnt work to her...so if you guys have any opinion\suggestion regarding it then feel free to comment here. It might help her living a normal life again.

Oh my goodness.. that seems like a bad case of OCD.
Pata nahi what to suggest. Other than being her support, talking to her patiently - cajoling her into letting go slowly starting with small things. IMO, I think if you can be present with her at all times you can convince her, appeal to her, for example - "please, bas ek baar - don't wash your hands.. lets see what happens" , hold her hands and show her how you didn't wash your hands... such type .. Kind of deal with her like how you deal with small babies(patience, gentle, care, love, some funny tricks type - playful and so on).. maybe it will help her. Other than that, I don't see any other alternative. I don't think there can be any medicine for such problems, other than love, and most importantly desire to change on part of the person herself..

Take her to nearby naala (rain drain)

Ask her to look into it

Kick her back side into naala till she gets dirty

Let her clean herself for few hours

------------

repeat above procedure daily for 15 days

-----------

You will not C OC again and then come here and tell me O I C

this may sound bit inhumanly rude or may even sound like
i have no empathy bt the only way to stop her paranoid behavior
is to have the water she uses for cleansing self be tested in a
lab n show that lab report containing the large amount of
water bacteria n other micro-organisms ..
after seeing that water report she will herself realize she is cleaner
n safer without washing herself ..problem solved..

She needs to see a doctor asap. I am surprised her parents haven't taken any step yet.
