Since you are in UK, join any Charity shop like Oxfam or Cancer Research for voluntary work for 5-10 hours a week. It'll help others and yourself.
There is a lot to do in UK. Look around

College opens in Sept. Aren't you too late to ask this.

Start reading books. Read anything. Tell me your interest and I'll PM you authors name.

PS - Can everyone see my lovely DP now?😳

Yes we can see your lovely DP, it's fitting too 😊

Bold - That's a very good suggestion.. Charity, voluntary work helps us as much as it helps others

Watching too much TV and net causes boredom and depression... It's counterproductive
Not to mention the health hazards

If TM has no hobbies, time to start one now... I love visiting museums, reading about art and stuff...

Hi everyone. This is a kind of personal post which i'm writing because I need some inspiration.. I feel the need to talk to people I don't know, if that makes sense.. and because i've seen some members post stuff like this too? Have you ever felt like there is no excitement in your life. I am 21 years old.. and I am doing nothing. It's the summer holidays here in the UK, i'm off from uni.. all my friends are working/in relatioships/ have other friends and i'm here with my latest achievement being having joined the gym!ā˜ŗļø

Trust me, I'm not complaining. I love my life Alhumdulillah. I am super blessed, you know but there comes a time when binge-watching tv shows and eating just doesn't cut it anymore. I don't know what to do.. I just need something excitinf, you know? Does anyone else feel like this? Any ideas.. anything?🄱

I feel like this. This is like reading about myself.
I have every reason to be happy but still sometimes I feel sad ...I don't know whyšŸ˜•
My life is pretty boring. I want something exciting...I want to travel ... :(

Hey Jabeen
You can always talk to me. I am mostly around and didn't we share a class together? I'm sure we had some chemistry.

What do you like yo do in free time?
Do that.

There are so many things to try and be productive as well. Are you into DIYs? Try that. There are tons if videos available on YT. Try baking? I love baking and making desserts. Gives me real pleasure!
Or you could try to learn a foreign language.
These activities are fun yet productive.

Do any one of above and your time will fly.

I strongly suggest short term courses like Teaching assistant, Babysitting, hair and makeup, baking or anything else. See local college website.

People suggesting travel - It's complicated. You need to have interest to go to new place and enjoy. Otherwise it'll feel dull.

And you need money to travel...

I think physical activities like aerobics, yoga, zumba might help. Or just taking a walk in nature makes you feel better

Binge watching TV and net and I don't know about your eating habits but eating junk and sweets - all the things that make us feel better initially, later causes bad mood and dullness
