loner in Uni!!!

I am Anchal! I am 22 years old and I am taking a bachelor in Social Science,I live in a european country. i am starting on my third year in uni. Well this year our batch had a chance to take a semester abroad. I was supposed to go but something came up and now i am not going. So everyone from my Social Science class will be away for a semester whereas i am still going at the same uni. The problem is I just received an email where it says that all of my 4 subjects requires that we do a group project. Now i don't have any friends in any of the classes and everyone else will know each other since they are from the business batch and have been studying together.

I have a history with group projects and its so embarrassing when i always have to ask people and they say no! like what am i gonna say to the professors? I am stressed i want to go to bed and never get out. this semester is going to be so awful i am dying already! please give me suggestions on how to solve this issue!!!!
