Aniruddh is from a Brahmin family hailing from Rajasthan. He was born in Dehradun, India and later he moved Rajasthan where he spent his childhood. His parents are working in the education department in Jaipur. He finished his schooling from army school and further finished his graduation from Rajasthan College in computer applications. Since childhood he wanted to become an actor, therefore he started doing theater acting just after his graduation. He have two siblings one elder sister and one younger brother Nitin dave who is working in same industry . his parents are into education department as professors in jaipur .

Aniruddh moved to Delhi and started enacting in renowned plays like Rashomon(by Akiro Kurosawa; International), Haye Mera Dil(with Ranveer Singh), Man Without Shadow, Jaat Na Pucho Sadhu Vijay Tendulkar. He always had a close association with the faculty of the Delhi National School of Drama and played many plays on stage.

In 2000 Aniruddh was honored with Rashtrapati Award by K.R. Naryan for acting and theatre plays
