Best tips for beautiful hands

<STYLE> </STYLE>

Without our hands to create beautiful things, express our feelings, and get things done, we'd be lost. Here are tips & ways to pamper your hands so read through if you are keen to keep your hands healthy and young-looking.

Wear Sunscreen. Hands acquire sun damage just like faces do. Don't forget to apply SPF daily on you hands.

Exfoliate. Use a grainy scrub on backs of hands twice a week to reveal glowing skin.

Keep Cuticles Neat. Cuticles function as barriers to bacteria and fungus, but they can often overgrow. Use a wooden cuticle pusher after a shower to keep them in line and NEVER cut your cuticles.

Seal Cuticle Tears. Tiny hangnails and bitten edges can catch on almost anything, turning into deep tears and possibly leading to infection. Keep them covered by applying a liquid bandage product as soon as tears develop or you can use any regular bandage until its heals .

Release Tension. Most of us hold tension in our necks and shoulders, but we can also carry the stress of the day in our hands. Give yours a daily self-massage to keep them tension-free.

Share Facial Treatments. Vitamin C, retinol, and alpha- and beta-hydroxy acids benefit the skin on our hands. Apply a bit of treatment whenever you use it on your face.

Keep Nails Short. Long nails tend to look tasteless making your hands looking tacky , and it can also invite breaks that can be painful. File nails to half a centimeter max above your fingertips.

Wear rubber gloves lined with cotton when your hands are in contact with harsh soaps, detergents or chemicals.

Wear protective gloves when doing work that might damage the hands or nails, such as gardening or dusting .

Moisturize, Moisturize. After washing your hands, pat dry and while moist, use a moisturizer on the hands, cuticles and nails.

Never carry heavy packages. carrying heavy packages is very bad for your hands. The reason is the weight you carry causes blood to rush to your hands and becoming trapped in the veins, which in time enlarges them. That is not something you want to see when you hit your forties.

Get Into The Habit Of Giving Yourself A Weekly Manicure, which will make your hands look good along with helping them to combat annoying problems like chipping, splitting, peeling and cracking.

Get A Professional Manicure Every Now And Then . Sure, doing your own nails is economical and practical, but a professional manicure every two or three months is a welcome bit of pampering. What's more, professionals can deal with tough problems like hangnails and flaking cuticles better than you can at home.
