Rare qualities that I don't seem to share with anyone I know

1. I think a lot at night. Chances are all my Crazy creative topics were thought of at night. Before I used to keep a notepad and pen on my night stand so when a thought would pop up I would scribble it down in the dark. But now that I have a better phone I take notes there.
Dont tell me.😲 I am ALSO a night thinker.. I also got my first ff idea at night.
I think a lot in night..And I always get ideas for everything while thinking at night.

2. I have a love hate relationship with music. I love music a lot, but it has to be something I connect with. Chart toppers, or mainstream music usually doesn't cut it for me. I can't listen to anything I don't love, it feels like torture. So even if it's at the top of the charts It can still put me through pain. I listen to a lot of indie music these days. The Pierces are my current favorite. I love husky, slow songs that can put me to sleep.

I love MUSIC too.. I mean slow songs also make me to sleep..I am total music freak..

3. Nice things touch me to a point where I get quite emotional and teary eyed. So for example when someone in this thread says "wow I never thought another weirdo like me existed" I feel touched. I take a lot of pride in what I do, and what I love. If I didn't think it's a good thing or it's worthwhile I would never spend my time on it.

Small and nice things do touch me also.

4. I can't tie myself down to one nationality, because I feel like I will miss out on all these other amazing cultures. My parents are bengali, I was born in middle-east, raised in USA. I love Korean music, Russian literature, french films, German brands, and Spanish men. When I say love I really mean "love". They are all parts of me.

5. I watch a lot of criminal law shows. I find them fascinating. White collar, Covert Affairs, Criminal Minds, NCIS, NCIS LA.

6. I love airports and hotels (in other words I love traveling). Expensive hotels. I am not sure if it's something I am entirely proud of but I just love love love beautiful hotels.

Me too..I love airports and hotell BUT i hate travelling.😆

Here is a sample of my weirdness...

1. It is really,really difficult for me to like something or someone completely... I am the opposite of fickle.But when I do like something I like it with a passion... It is almost like addiction... And when I do decide to get over it, I become totally and completely detached... Eg I was completely absorbed in tennis, esp Men's tennis, till Federer got his 16th slam, but now I am totally detached... IF is my current addiction ,but hopefully would get over with it soon...

2. I love to read novels. But i am more interested in classics, be it English, Russian(esp) or French and even short stories. I can not sit through a romance novel🤢, though there are 1 or 2 exceptions... I am a fan of tragedies...😆 I love music too, esp old bollywood songs and Jagjit Singh's Ghazals.

3. I do not intend to marry, I never dreamt of a Prince Charming on White horse 😆So yes I want to stay single,independent and happy , hopefully 😛

4. I am an introvert in real life, do not like partying or socializing...It takes me time to open up to people. admire good sense of humour and even harmless and subtle sarcasm...

5.Never in my life would I get the appeal of Twilight(either novel or movie) or Robert Pattison or Kristen Stewart or Vampires🤢

6. There are many women whose grace and beauty I admire... Waheeda Rahman,Nutan,Rekha, Greta Garbo, Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz, Catherine Zeta Jones,Salma Hayek, Madhuri Dixit, Chitrangada Singh... I can still go on😆 Among men there is no one that i really like in real life but some fictional characters would be Raskolnikov from Crime and Punishment ,Prof Henry Higgins( I love his sense of humour!!!), Howard Roark, Francisco d'Anconia , Rhett Butler, Angad( in first 35 episodes of KYPH) and Maan( as the original character was, in initial months, not what he was turned into later)... Beisdes that I admire Guru Dutt and his work...There is something so fatalistic about it...

7. I find deserts and ruins and old,deserted havelis/palaces fascinating😆

Well so much for weirdness... I know chances of me finding a twin are really slim, but miracles do happen😆... So let's see... I have given so many points so that at least some match...😭😆

1. I can't get too attached to something for a long time. Eg: I was so hooked on to YRKKH initially before Naitik and Akshara got married. But then I lost interest and now I really feel like hitting the TV when Akshara comes up.

4. I too do not intend to marry. I just can't imagine marrying someone. This idea somehow doesn't click with me. I wish to remain independent, free-spirited with no one to curb my freedom.(My parents have that right).😉

6. I find old havelis, palaces and forts mysterious. And as I said I love mystery, so I love visiting such places and exploring them. I feel as if there is still some unsaid or unknown fact about such a palace, and I need to explore it. I wish I were born in the era of the Mughals or Rajputs...😆

7. I love traveling and I love nature, I love the clouds, the seas, the mountains, the trees, the forest, the sky, the flowers, wildlife, the valleys .. everything. And ya I love the cosmos too. As a child, I wished to be an astronaut and go into the outer space, explore black holes and want to know the end of the universe. 😃
