Hey guys, I need some help picking a topic for my 6-8 page research paper. 😒
I have noooo idea what to pick as a topic!

Well I'm gonna type the requirements/guidelines from the paper we were given, it says:

World Culture topics cover ANYTHING that could be considered having worldwide influences or impact. This would inclue environmental issues like Global Warming, social issues like Assisted Suicide, artistic/entertainment issues like Doping Sports, or important events like the Battle of the Bulge or the Tsunamis that struck Asia a few years ago. Topics to avoid are biographies of histrocial/artistic figures, and highly emotional issues such as abortions and gun control.

So pretty much I guess it's whatever you wanna do as long as it's not like a biography on someone or a really emotional topic. But the thing is it has to have LOTS of information... I need like 6 different sources and it's supposed to be 6-8 pages.

I kinda wanna do something like cultural related. Maybe something about India :P

But I don't know what exactly to do....so someone please help me out!!! 😭

Oh yeah I think we also have to do a mini-presentation on our topic so I want it to be really interesting so people don't get bored w/ it, if you know what I mean. Something that's different that they'll actually learn about. 😆

haha that's funny cuz i was actually thinking about doing poverty in india thats what i was gonna do originally 😆 thanks for the idea.. if i cant think of anything else i probably will do that.

I think poverty in india wud be your best bet if you wanna go with something india related (you'll definitely find TONS of sources on that topic)

I remember when we had to do a debate on assisted suicide, and so I would go with that as well, but it depends which side you support, because there isn't enough research you can get for that topic.

Yeah, maybe I should just stick to poverty in India.
Plus I dunno... I'd probably not do suicide cuz we have to give a mini-presentation about our topic and that would be really hard/awkward for me to talk about assisted suicide or just PLAIN suicide like that.

Like last week in health class we were just talkinng about mental disorders/suicide... I must say it was REALLY awkward..especially since last year this one seniior girl at our school killed herself. =(

Ohhh yeah that's really sad 😔 *hugs* I think that does count as an emotional topic too, so yeah poverty wud work best, specially since Slumdog is such a huge fact now 😛

I dont know....but maybe Global Warming or some core topic like that.....Though maybe many people might choose it...u wwill have quite a lot to write on...
