Maybe it was a sneaky trick and maybe it.was out of emotion. Either way it proved one thing - a mother always cares for their child even if they are fighting/at odds end. Tanvi does not approve of Rahul's choices and has caused him quite the grief but she can't see her child hurt at any cost. And if took this stunt to remind her of that so be it. Good job Rahul

I'm not going to even read those comments but not surprised. This is the age old stereotypes for male and female leads of a show. They can both do dumb and stupid stuff but for males, it's presented as them being rude, impulsive and dumb while for females it's positioned as them being compassionate, self sacrificing and caring for others. ITV is based and built for women so they can't make them look flawed.

It reinforces the trope that women need and should sacrifice things in their lives to keep a family happy - bit as Mini stated rightfully so at the beginning of the show, if a girl can think about their whole family why can't they think about her happiness.

I get it. But these double standards surprise me. Like the FL can be all emotional, doing stupidity in the name of tyag & what not but she's mahan. While the ML even if he shows a Lil bit of emotions he's dumb. Weird reasoning.

Exactly. Let's see how they take it from here.

Exactly. The bond between a mother & son can't be ignored so easily. So yeah whatever Rahul did was commendable.

It's such a weird reasoning but continues to be around show after show after show and that's why it's frustrating. But yes let's see where they take this.

Yeah it's really frustrating. Seems like PPL tend to forget MLs r also humans. Even if Rahul gets emotional on seeing DW dancing at his sangeet he's seen questioning Mauli so why this much hatred. He does want to know the reason behind this sudden change which shows he's still sensible.

With the rituals in full swing and most people happy, things are going well for Rahul and Mauli. However based on these last two episodes we're headed down a familiar path - but this one is going to do more damage 💔

The was a moment during yesterday's episode where Mauli looks at Rahul and notices he's upset because his mom is not there. She wants to do something to take that pain away and that look reminded me of Rahul looking at mauli after the public match making fiasco and vowed to protect her. And we know what he ended up doing. Being very impulsive and misguided, hr first drugged mauli and tried to marry her while she qas unconscious. Then when that couldn't happen he foolishly married Rati just to attain a diverse tag - just to trust the wrong person and throw utter chaos into the house. Whatever his intentions we're, his actions could be labeled as dumb, impulsive and desperately. And Mauli is headed down the same path. We know based on the BTS the absolutely ridiculous deal she's going to strike with Tanvi. She's being desperate and letting her emotions get the best of her - exactly the same way they did for Rahul. In this case she's not listening to him or the family and is pretty much chasing after the impossible. Unfortunately this dumb and impulsive decision is going to have a greater impact, especially on her and her marriage because she is not going to tell Rahul the truth. Essentially she is going to go into this marriage with lies and secrets which is going to hurt him even more. Let's face it his decision was extremely stupid but at least he was honest about it - came home and told everyone about it. But Mauli, she's not going to tell him. In fact Rahul has always been upfront and honest with Mauli so it pains to see her lie and keep secrets from the one person who trusted you the most. How do you repair that?

I've got my thoughts on Mauli but will save that for Friday after the episode.

A parallel story to see if anyone has learned anything but this being ITV I know this stupid decision is going to be glorified instead of condemned. Please, I'm asking the makers to do something different here.

1000% he has every right to ask. Any normal person would. But not just Rahul, Janki ma and Jyoti know something is odd here and with Jyoti's detective skills at a 20 right now I'm hoping she uncovers this.

Some stray thoughts over the last two epis:

- What is up with Ajanta and her mood swings of Mauli. Literally a few episodes ago she was blessing them after he proposed and now she wants nothing to do with the relationship. Did the Janki ma flipper syndrome spread to everyone else??

- It's so weird seeing everyone so happy and involved in the wedding celebrations when just about 2-3 weeks ago half of them were totally against it. Talk about whiplash

- Rahul's haldi trick was not only brilliant but very telling. If she really didn't care she wouldn't have come to his aid but this proved to him that she's only being stubborn. Rahuls understanding of people and their behaviours hasn't been appreciated much. For example today he rightly pointed out to Mauli why she doesn't want to be close to him that day - in case he could read her.eyes. he deserves more kudos than he's getting.

- Can we just have Mauli br happy for one ritual, just one. Shruti has a beautiful smile and I'd rather see her happy instead of mopping around.

Ofcourse. Both of them looked so happy inspite of the chaos. They joy of getting married to the one u love was visible ❤️ ❤️. But yeah damage is about to happen.

True it was the same look which Rahul gave her. But what Rahul did & what she's gonna do r miles apart. Rahul's decision of marrying DN how much ever stupid it might be he was always honest about his intentions behind them. He confronted the whole house rightfully & declared his intentions right away despite facing opposition from the whole family & Mauli herself. But he never backed out. While Mauli here is getting into a hell hole & not even letting anyone know about it & also putting her relationship with Rahul at stake & when the truth comes out who's gonna be most affected, who's gonna be broken the same guy for whom Mauli claims she's doing all this. All of this for what for some momentary happiness. Not done Mauli.

Well I don't think her actions r gonna be glorified. Like in Rahul's case though ppl supported him due to his intentions he was called out. Same will happen here too. Mauli should be condemned for sure alongwith DW.

That's what my point is he's here still being sensible questioning Mauli how she convinced his mother how much ever emotional he maybe seeing his mother at the sangeet yet ppl r calling him dumb. Doesn't make sense to me at all. Glad that other ppl r questioning her too. But Mauli being herself isn't gonna reveal anything.
