She came into the room tired of days events only to meet darting eyes of him. She wanted to run into his arms and be with him but alas she suddenly remembered they are not on good terms. “So what? He is still your husband and you love him. A hug won’t hurt” her heart suggested. She took a step towards him after leaving her bag on bed.
“Mereko barbaad karneke liye uss ACP se haath milaa ya haina” raghav said in a angry yet low tone.
She couldn’t figure out but it hit deep and that was it. She couldn’t handle it anymore.
She walked near to him. Cupped his face with a strong force that even when he tried he couldn’t come out of her hold. “Toh tume mere pyaar ka proof chaahiye”
Raghav saw something he couldn’t very much understand in her eye. Her face dangerously closer to his. A mere inch of distance between them and pallavi spoke into his face. “Yehi kahaataana kal raat. Mujse pyaar karna tumari sabse badi galti hai? Par tumse pyaar karna meri sabse badi khush naseebi hai”
Raghav was shocked. Did he really say that to her? Was he that drunk? No! Loving her wasn’t a mistake. No. No! why would he say that? He was guilty and his hand automatically went to her tiny waist holding her closer.
She was staring at eyes and could read that he didn’t remember what he said in his somber state. She was tearing apart.
“Don’t drink too much honey. I love you. I love you insanely and it’s not that I can’t live without you but I wouldn’t choose to live without you. I want you by my side as long as I exist. I want to have children with you. I want to travel with you and learn a lot new things. I want us to grow old toge…ther” she was silently sobbing “I don’t wanna loose you to a stupid la..w. I want to you …to love me raghav… to hold…. me tight and tell me that you are with me always” she couldn’t hold her self and cried with her head on his chest. I can’t fight for dheshmukhs like I do for u. Bcoz What I feel for u is so much more than I do for them. Yes I always wanted a family but with you I find myself complete and I don’t need anything.
She moved out of his hold, stands in a feet distance and told him with a loud and clear statement “If you ever feel like meri wajase tum barbaadh hogai toh muje chod dena. I will happily go away if that is what you need par mere pyaar par kabhi doubt mat karna main yahin khudki jaan leylungi”
She went away leaving a numb raghav behind. He knew she loved him ofcourse but he didn’t realize the extent to which she held onto to him for her dear life. He sat down on the bed side staring out into the window with a dim night light that shed light onto darkness in the room. He was thought of the mess he have landed themselves in.
He could have told her he still is doing business illegally. She would have gotten angry May be hurt for him breaking the promise but she would stand by him like now even when he broke her and yet she is there.
A sudden gust of wind moved the curtain on his face with the light shed on it.
Realization hit him hard! She is here to stay! Stay for lifetime. Unlike past he don’t have to think it’s money who stood by him. This time it’s her. She is her to stay.
He got up to go to her but saw her coming after changing her clothes. she without a looking at him went into bed. Put the blanket on her head. She didn’t want face him for which she didn’t have courage. All she wanted is him to love her and take away all pain. The pain of separation even when they are together.
He knew she is trying to hide from him. He turned and got into his side of bed and under the blanket. He kissed on her forehead. She turned towards him.
He didn’t waste a second more, took her lips and kissed her passionately. Her arms around his neck his hands around her waist pulling each other closer and all they could think was not letting go of each other.
The night witnessed two soul drenching deeply in love. A love that bound them to grow together.
He will find a way to sort the mess.They would figure it out together.
