My eyes were going round as saucers with those cringe dialogues given to Pallavi, I guess some of us were in the same boat. Raghav was not perfect before she happened and he became perfect because of her love. She’s been saying this in different forms tum sudhargayi ho etc. She just created an illusion of her perfect world and perfect husband and got a rude shock today. The Pallavin who feels so much for the deshmukhs couldn’t understand why he values money or does what he does? Or the burden of guiit that he carries still for the death of his father and brother? She just blitzkrieged him with literally murdering abhishek. Though She absolved Raghav when she was having a tete a tete with her aai who by no means is white.. still her outburst to Raghav regarding his death could’ve been handled sensitively. She seems to be the one who’s letting that jackass sunny to dictate her relationship with Raghav. Silly bet and all. Keerthi is another blind bat. Of course her eye opening will take a long long time by the looks of it. I get it that what Raghav is doing is endangering himself too but this I want you to be white and nothing else attitude is the one I’m taking offense with. There is a grey and I believe in many situations with the D’s Pallavi has toed the grey line too. So , I hope they don’t make Raghav a push over and I expect a reciprocal change in Pallavi too. Don’t break promises and prioritise Raghav and the Raos over the D’s. Is that too much to ask for or expect?
Well said, Ana and blitzkrieg is indeed the perfect word to describe it. 😃
I agree with you that for someone as perceptive and sensitive as Pallavi she seems not to get her husband despite him explicitly telling her how he suffered and seeing his pain too.
Yes, her silly bets with Sunny and her overconfidence is giving Sunny more ammo. Why does she need to tell him details of what promises Raghav made? Aren't these things between a couple and not for outsiders? For someone who's always lecturing Raghav on the importance or relationships and apparently teaching him about rishte nibhaana, I find her lacking a lot. Frankly, I don't mind if she makes mistakes - she's human and it's bound to happen.
If she's seeking perfection in people she will always be disappointed because only God is perfect, not humans. She herself makes a lot of mistakes that people rarely call her out for, and I don't see her introspecting. She has different standards for the Ds and for her husband. She showed that time and again.
I'm just tired of her taking the moral high ground all the time and talking down to Raghav as though he is an infant when it comes to knowing about relationships and duniyadaari. Then again, I will give CVs the credit for showing her getting rude shocks. She insulted Raghav's parents before she even knew him properly, in fact in the first meeting, and look how her beloved Ayi and Baba turned out. She put Mandaar on a pedestal and said that he was such a good person, etc. and we all saw exactly what it was.
Raghav won't be a pushover this time, not so easily, and this is what bothers her. She's so used to him doing everything to please her that this time when he wants to set boundaries, she's unable to accept that. She's unable to accept another perspective and is quick to call him impulsive, driven by his ego, etc. Yet those are the traits she demonstrated today. A large part of her anger was because her pride was hurt at Sunny being proven right despite her lofty claims of the greatness of her Raghav.
