It looks even more absurd that their was a promise taken at that point of time. Had they put the promise after their marriage or after Raghav promised to change for Pallavi.....it would hv made much more sense.....bcz then they owed each other sonething.

The timeline they hv decided to insert this scene doesnt look convincing at all.

Its like dey hv forgotten their own story and how it progressed or how the characters progressed.

No, they showed it as a flashback of them after marriage, in RR mansion.

It still seems contrived, par chalo. Kya kar sakte hein?

Thing is they have either forgotten or dont know ( in case these r new writers) what dynamics the leads shared at dt time. Anyone who has watched the story wid any interest knows very well that a promise at that point will look forced and is done just to justify the new plot .

Introducing flashback isnt bad but not knowing where to introduce them shows lack of dedication to the script writing .

And these things increase the disconnect with the characters and the plot.

As you said, Raghav back then was so attentive to her and so serious that he would pay attention to every word of hers and wouldn't just carelessly promise her anything. They are now showing him to be a liar and a breaker of promises even though every time in the past they showed him saying this is Raghav Rao's word with a lot of emphasis and impact. Kuch bhi.

only start 4 months, the show had consistency, & track made sense..now its like just jumping🤪

yaa Farhad-Amrutha...article came like their story will start & this & that...once in a while they show their track...& they show so much progress in that, which is not shown to audience at all🤣..

Pallavi's identity, which Sunny was investigating...that track also...stopped there🤣🤣, what was the use of showing it then🤣

Mandaar out of the show😆, all the tracks related to him is also out of the show🤣🤣🤣

& new track is introduced, without closure to the older tracks🤣...

obviously makes u loose interest🤣...good i skipped past week epis😆..cause all the incomplete tracks makes u all🤔

I just hope they don't show that Krishna Rao is Pallavi's father or grandfather. It would be too much. Hope they come up with an original idea instead of this. 😆

Yes that was so obvious. It made me laugh instead of being able to connect to the scene. 😆

My eyes were going round as saucers with those cringe dialogues given to Pallavi, I guess some of us were in the same boat. Raghav was not perfect before she happened and he became perfect because of her love. She’s been saying this in different forms tum sudhargayi ho etc. She just created an illusion of her perfect world and perfect husband and got a rude shock today. The Pallavin who feels so much for the deshmukhs couldn’t understand why he values money or does what he does? Or the burden of guiit that he carries still for the death of his father and brother? She just blitzkrieged him with literally murdering abhishek. Though She absolved Raghav when she was having a tete a tete with her aai who by no means is white.. still her outburst to Raghav regarding his death could’ve been handled sensitively. She seems to be the one who’s letting that jackass sunny to dictate her relationship with Raghav. Silly bet and all. Keerthi is another blind bat. Of course her eye opening will take a long long time by the looks of it. I get it that what Raghav is doing is endangering himself too but this I want you to be white and nothing else attitude is the one I’m taking offense with. There is a grey and I believe in many situations with the D’s Pallavi has toed the grey line too. So , I hope they don’t make Raghav a push over and I expect a reciprocal change in Pallavi too. Don’t break promises and prioritise Raghav and the Raos over the D’s. Is that too much to ask for or expect?

Well said, Ana and blitzkrieg is indeed the perfect word to describe it. 😃

I agree with you that for someone as perceptive and sensitive as Pallavi she seems not to get her husband despite him explicitly telling her how he suffered and seeing his pain too.

Yes, her silly bets with Sunny and her overconfidence is giving Sunny more ammo. Why does she need to tell him details of what promises Raghav made? Aren't these things between a couple and not for outsiders? For someone who's always lecturing Raghav on the importance or relationships and apparently teaching him about rishte nibhaana, I find her lacking a lot. Frankly, I don't mind if she makes mistakes - she's human and it's bound to happen.

If she's seeking perfection in people she will always be disappointed because only God is perfect, not humans. She herself makes a lot of mistakes that people rarely call her out for, and I don't see her introspecting. She has different standards for the Ds and for her husband. She showed that time and again.

I'm just tired of her taking the moral high ground all the time and talking down to Raghav as though he is an infant when it comes to knowing about relationships and duniyadaari. Then again, I will give CVs the credit for showing her getting rude shocks. She insulted Raghav's parents before she even knew him properly, in fact in the first meeting, and look how her beloved Ayi and Baba turned out. She put Mandaar on a pedestal and said that he was such a good person, etc. and we all saw exactly what it was.

Raghav won't be a pushover this time, not so easily, and this is what bothers her. She's so used to him doing everything to please her that this time when he wants to set boundaries, she's unable to accept that. She's unable to accept another perspective and is quick to call him impulsive, driven by his ego, etc. Yet those are the traits she demonstrated today. A large part of her anger was because her pride was hurt at Sunny being proven right despite her lofty claims of the greatness of her Raghav.

Kya phook ke likhte hain dialogues???

I don't think the writers are saying he needs to reform. I think they made it clear that that's what Pallavi wants to do. Even if you listen to what Ayi told her (I know it's hard to accept her these days, but just bear with me), she told Pallavi that she has to decide what to accept and what she wants to change. So Ayi didn't say that reforming Raghav is the only solution. I have a feeling writers want Pallavi to learn that there are some things she'll have to learn to accept or overlook and others that she might consider changing. However, it should be because Raghav wants to change.

As for her showing him the mirror, I want him to do the same one day. It's high time. Strangely enough, the only person who could do this is Krishna or maybe Keerti (although the dynamics are currently messed up).

Whats wid all the I believed he had changed . Woman you believed .....he never told you.....dt the thing now. I always wondered why Pallavi kept saying those dialogues abt Raghav hs changed a lot everytime. Yes he did change.....as a person but he never said anything abt changing the way he worked .

No wonder it came as a rude awakening for her bcz she had built this big illusion and was living in it , instead of being a bit realistic. Though I do get dt Pallavi has always had this flaw / characteristic. She assumes things of her own and doesnt really make efforts to see past her assumptions until some big shock comes to shake her up.

But yes her not understanding Raghav and his love for money and hence power. He has bared his past and the impact it caused to Pallavi only and then she had said she will try to understand him. Den how come now she doesnt undertsnd where he is coming from. I am not defending Raghav. I know he is wrong . But Pallavi is kinda contradicting herself wid those not well thought of or written dialogues.

Totally agree with everything you said, and yeah it's these contradictions that confuses the audience and creates a disconnect.

I was so surprised with some of the dialogues this week. Unless they are deliberately trying to highlight her character flaws and showing that she has to grow as well, these dialogues are strange.

Every time she used to say tum sudhar gaye ho, etc. I used to be like, what?

He just treated her well and tried to be a good husband but other aspects of his life were the same.

Very well said Jean. It's always a pleasure to read your analysis posts.❤️

I will add just one small thing. Even God is not perfect atleast not the Hindu Gods Pallavi worships. 😆 They always end up giving into the demands of their bhakts who later turn into monsters. 😆 Do you know Lord Shiva( father of Ganeshji ) blessed Bhasmasur with the power of burning anyone whom he keeps his hands on head? Later Bhasmasur tried to burn Shiva himself to test the blessing and Mahadev had to run for his life. 😆 That's how our Gods are. Phir Raghav kya cheez hai?

I really hope with this track Pallavi finally starts her journey in this relationship. It's been long and only Raghav is in it.
