Amma’s character

Will amma turn negative? What do you think?

I think she may start thinking Pallavi is bad luck if anything untowardly happens to Raghav again. I just had that feeling .....hopefully not, coz I like her and it's a fresh take on saas of ITV.

I've come across so many posts about this and I can see that people have very little faith in Amma. While that makes sense when we take ITV's history with the saas' of television, I have just a little more faith in Amma and Pallavi's relationship than most.

When I speculate on this topic, I always recall Amma's conviction about Raghav and Pallavi being made for each other. There are times when it seems like she might flip; the most recent one was when Kirti was bashing Pallavi and Amma looked pensive but then she shut her down. On top of that, she's the one that pushed for this marriage b/c she seemed to see what no one else did at the time. And with Kirti having transitioned into an empty-headed, constipated expression wearing, stringed-puppet vamp, I can't imagine that Amma would follow suit.

With Mandaar's entry, Pallavi's Aai/Sharda will become emotionally manipulative b/c she's going to want her son home. As he only seems to remember Pallavi, there will be some eye-roll worthy drama to request Pallavi's presense at the D-house for Mandaar's sake/health. I actually feel like Amma might be the one to send her there. So both of Pallu's moms can't become negative.

Idk if I'm being exceptionally positive but it just seems a tad too cliche for Amma to take the expectedly negative turn.

I really dont want that--although she has little doubt--i am sure it will be cleared with time
